I've been looking long for someone actually testing scenario of getting so wet while cold and figuring out the best materials/ clothing for survival so.. dude!
I'm going to make a detailed video later. But the instructions are simple. What you need: 5 gallon bucket 1 can of balg balm Piece of wool 1. Fill bucket around 3/4 with hot water 2. Put half can of bag balm in hot water and stir till completely liquid. 3. Stir mixture fast to keep oils spread out in hot water 4. While water is moving push wool in and move wool around in water for a few minutes to distribute oil as evenly as possible. 5. Allow to sit till water cools, I let it sit overnight to be sure. 6. Remove and hang to let dry. Optional I put them in the dryer on no heat after completing, on cheaper wool, blankets because they shed a lot and it helps to remove extra irritating material.
Great coat and a great test for wool in general. Liked and subscribed. Might need to pick up a knife someday too
Thanks !
