Prof Dr Javed Iqbal is a surgeon with special interest in laparoscopic and cancer surgery. His professional qualifications are FCPS, FRCS, FACS, FICLS, MCPS-HPE.
He is one of the pioneers of laparoscopic surgery in the region. He has trained more than 50 surgeons formally as their supervisor and thousands more who have worked with him in various capacities during his four decades long professional journey. He is an official mentor of Royal College of Glasgow and International Course Director of American College of Surgeons for Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS). He is a well known medical educationist and has been a part of College of Physicians and Surgeons, University of Health Sciences and Nishter Medical University as faculty of medical education.He is on the reviewers panal of various index medical journals. He has more than twenty five research publications on his credit along with a book on surgery entitled "The Operative Surgery"He is a published poet, short story writer, critic and broadcaster. His current areas of effort are teaching and training of soft skill at various national and international fora. He is very active on social media and his team runs a very well subscribed youtube channel covering versatile topics& interests. He is regularly being invited on national & international TV shows for his intellectual contribution. He is an influential speaker. Millions of people are getting benefit from his videos on medical education, FCPS training, parenting, relationships, human wellbeing and various other social issues.
Govt of Punjab has recently assigned him the role of member, Punjab Health Policy Board.

Qasim Ali shah changed our lifestyle in England Alhumdulillah He is 💎 kind of person. His motivational speeches makes us better and we started working for ourselves and I forced my husband by looking of his abilities( all told by shah sahib in different video clips ). He is hardworking but worked for a small company for 10 to 12 years now started his own company. Proud moment for myself and my husband. After Allah's karam this is all because of shah sahib and Doctor sahib's motivational videos. I wish I can come to pakistan and tell you both our journey to reach where we are today Alhumdulillah.
But england mayn pakistani mardoon ki izzat mehfooz nahi.Apnay husband ko pakistan lay aayan.Udhar ki oratayn theek nahiyn.

Alhumdulilah I met both of them. Sir Qasim Ali shah in 2017 and with Dr. Javaid IQbal last week. Both are extra ordinary genius and at the same time down to earth. Learned a lot from these two living legends

Both are great and very sincere to teach. The time I am listening this talk, unfortunately it is a very bad time for Pakistan. Before Qasim sahib finished his talk he stated praising Army but it's true fact that our Army leaders are slaves and they made our country slave. I know our army is a great army but they are working for somebody else. Believe me or not but if we don't understand now than results could be very bad. It's time to spread Alama Iqbal's message. Khudi ka message. All beautiful talks and teaching mean nothing if we can't come out from slavery. I hope our pakistani understand it. Love you from USA.

I knew Sir Iqbal since my training carrier.. he is Undoubtedly a great surgeon mentour and very nice humble person.. He gave us a small session on hardwork, honesty and humanity in civil hospital jhangiwala in 2013 when hospital was just started and he visited there and sit with us.. It was an unforgettable momemt for me.... It will be honoured for me if i can meet both of you... May ALLAH bless you long healthy life and you will continue your passion and all your dreams come true
