I too am obsessed with dinnerware. I have 8, yes I said 8 sets of dishes. From stoneware to fine China, in sets of 12. Some are special occasions. 2 sets of Christmas dishes service for 12. Wedding China service for 12. Thanksgiving transfer-ware china, of course service for 12. Clear glass Tea China, another service for 12. Not only have I collected all of these dishes but also the matching tea services, canisters, and serving pieces. This addiction got started after I was married 50+ years ago. Now, I’d like to reduce the amount of dinnerware but I’m so attached I just can’t donate the sets I’m not using. I think I probably need therapy! 🤣. ❤ your channel and all of the wonderful content you share with your followers. 😊🥰
I’m a little younger but I love dinnerware, glassware, table cloths and candles. Love having things for the table.
Linda you and Leah need to have an instructional video segment one day on HOW TO TIE SCARFS! Your scarfs were adorable ♥️♥️♥️
I’m obsessed with little bowls 🥣🥣🥣🥣🥣🥣🥣🥣🥣🥣
I thought I was the only person who loves clotheslines. When I take a ride to Lancaster PA my favorite site to see is the clotheslines full of their clothes.
loved your comment as I was born & raised in Lancaster County, PA. Just live a short distance away now & love visiting our family there now.
Sunnies! No . Sunglasses, please😊
Those little bowls would also be great to be a ring holder or also an earring holder.
Very enjoyable Signature Saturday … have a great week, Linda, Stewart, and Leah❤
We just drove by the cottage earlier today-stayed at the Bradford House last night after a day filled with soccer tournaments! The Minoan Lace was just as beautiful in person. Your gate was open and I joked, “We could just go back there and sit in Linda’s yard!” Very fun seeing your neighborhood in person.
I'd have potato salad or pasta salad with the corn on the cob, etc.
Thanks for a fun video!
Sounds great!
Question of the day, what to serve with brisket. Corn bread and southern style greenbeans.
To add to the menu: Roasted Brussels sprouts and you can add your favorite honey as a glaze… I hope you have a wonderful time with your family❤️
Potato salad! My favorite! ☺️
I do absolutely love pretty dinnerware and I love setting a pretty table. Thankfully my husband likes it too. We just took up our clothesline a couple of weeks ago. I just never used it anymore but I do love going to bed on sheets that have hung outside. Feels and smells divine.
I also love little bowls!!
I suggest deviled eggs with your menu as the final
Side
💕
Hi it’s Mary Ann from Maine…just loved your outfit today and the idea for coffee corner🫶
Linda you should have the larger scarf with the flowers. It would not only be beautiful to wear, but would look lovely as a scarf on a small table for Summer!
I have always loved Queen Anne Lace, as I have always called it.
I too, being 71 love to collect different table settings and dinnerware. It is truly a vice of mine, and I do not apologize!
Clotheslines are a part of my childhood. We never had a dryer in my younger years, so Mom always hung the clothes to dry outside on the clothesline, and in the in the Minnesota winters, she had clotheslines in our basement.
I love dishes! I think I have 17 different sets. Plus many miscellaneous odds and ends from thrifts. I love tableware and linens and use all.
Herb roasted potatoes and roasted carrots.
What a delicious dinner!!
It may be too early in the season, but grilled peaches are a wonderful summer touch.
Your garden is growing so Lucious this year. I can’t believe how full the Mexican sunflowers are and so many blooms already. Was thankful to hear your area was not hit as hard as the news here has shown parts of Houston were impacted. Here in Gulf Breeze FL in last week we have gotten over 10” of rain but our ground just soaks it up so well and my tropical garden loves it. Wondered where you got that pot you grounded the bottom out of might consider a couple of those myself if available. That last caladium you showed, bottle rocket I think I’ve been growing it for now my 3rd summer and love them. So excited for you to see how well your garden is looking. Thanks again for sharing
Love the new dishes and wooden salad set! The scarves are divine!❤
Exactly my thoughts. ❤
Linda, I look forward to your Saturday post so much. Thanks for taking time to share such mundane things that become special when highlighted. Take time to enjoy your blessings. I love❤️ it.
Baked beans or Mac and cheese are a go to when I serve brisket. Sometimes I do an orzo salad with tomatoes and asparagus instead of the Mac and cheese.
How are you doing mrs Linda . Happy belated mother day. Thank you for your wonderful channel about gardening tips and guide , home decorations. You are really inspiring creative lady . Iam Arabic lady subscriber to several British and American TH-cam channels. I didn’t send comments to you from long time. Best wishes for you your dearest ones .
So nice of you!
Linda and Leila you are both adorable with the scarves!
Loved all the things ❤ You look absolutely stunning in that outfit!! The scarves are beautiful!!
You & Leah & Stewart are a jolt of joy in my life❤
Before you donate the dishes to your friend with the new apartment consider trying to get rid of those silverware marks on the dishes. Baking soda, cream of tartar or even Barkeepers Friend all do a nice job! I also have those same white dishes and I treat once a year and it really helps to keep them nice and sparkly and scuff free!
That's a good idea!
Love those scarves! Yes, I’m am from the same age group as you, and I love dinnerware. I have 4 different sets, two of which I have had since I was in my 20s. Of course I also have a fascination with glassware. 😆
Hi Linda, I am exactly your age. I’ll be 68 this summer and I to absolutely love linens and dishware anything having to do with the kitchen or the laundry room. I absolutely love the dining room table. I get it.
Linda I love those little plates. In Sweden we use them when setting a table for afternoon tea so that you have somewhere to place the used tea bags.
Your outfit looked really nice.
You looked very cute today. 🥰
Nice watching your video and yes I do enjoy quality dinnerware and I just ordered a set at Macy's that was on sale! Your minoan lace flowers are outstanding and will make a great gift. Very striking outfit that you are wearing to the graduation! I was out gardening today and I must say the humidity level was high and I looked like I just went swimming but got all I needed to accomplish planted. if it is a warmer day while your son is visiting, you could always prepare crab cakes, cucumber or avocado and tomato salad. Thank you for your video's that are always fun to watch! Oh, Olive Garden Italian Signature Dressing works well with either of the salads. Enjoy!
I’m a dishaholic seasonally too! I always change it up and depending on the dinner event ! It feels right
Wow what a fun day I loved your outfit and the scarfs were beautiful the one you had on was perfect for your outfit. What a nice gift. I’m so excited your son is coming down for 3 weeks that is awesome hope we see some fun things that includes him but if you can’t have Stewart around to film we understand. Loved the salad set and the new plates you have that magic touch however you style the table. I did notice the 3 Xmas things in your kitchen background was going to ask what were they for?
Linda you look absolutely gorgeous in todays video. Love your style so much. Thanks for all the great recommended products, books, and tv series. So many great style tips too. Love the gorgeous vase of white Minoan lace 😍😍 Such a great great video - thoroughly enjoyed watching 😊
I hung my clothes out, every Monday for 28 years. Then we build a large screened porch, and half of my clothes line length was in the way of porch. Yes,I have two sets of China for Thanksgiving, two sets for Christmas, and two sets for Easter. I must down size 🥰 love your outfit today .
Yes Linda. It’s our generation. I also have several sets of dishes and placemats napkins etc. The lack of class in our country is sad to me. But that’s why you have such a great following we all dont want to let go of😔. Take care
That meal sounds like what we would eat in Summer. My Dad would BBQ, we would have salad, and corn on the cobb, and to go with, Strawberries! Plain or if dersert, then strawberry shortcake.
Love me a clothesline too! We put in a retractable line, so i could dry some vintage linens.
You look especially darling in that outfit today. I enjoyed all the tips and little life luxuries. I do have a thing for linens and dishes. Such a fun way to be creative.
I love that fluffy bouquet!
Another fun video!
Love every part of this feature! You are also now the official queen of "Boho-dressy-casual" styling. First the puffy shirt with jeans and now the dynamic contrast of navy and white. (Tell QVC you need your own line of separates.)
Hi great display on the table flowers from garden are always more special than bought ones as you have put lots of work into growing them etc. I like your white and navy striped trousers they are really nice.
Another fantastic signature Saturday, love your choices Linda, thanks for some great ideas! ❤❤❤
I love to do some smashed potatoes with brisket; just boil up some baby potatoes whatever your favorite. Then smash and fry in a little butter and olive oil. Sprinkle with sea salt. They are delicious. Serve with a little sour cream or fancy it up with a horseradish sauce. Loved your outfit today! And, yes, on a beautifully set table. I have about six sets of dishes and I use them all!
Fantastic 🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳
You should have 7=Up Biscuits when Johnny comes!
They are always a big hit.
And to make fast work of it, you don't have to roll them, you can drop them on the pan with an ice cream scoop.
If you do roll them, you cut them round with a biscuit cutter, but they meld together in the pan, and become square pull apart biscuits.
That's fun too.
Oh Linda, I do hope you try them!
Haha that is too funny about the Miralax container!! 😂 My 4 year old granddaughter kept thinking my salt cellar had sugar in it. I finally had to hide it from her.
Linda, looking beautifully elegant, as usual..❤️
TH-cam podcasts in general (not just yours Linda) have turned into one nonstop commercial.
I think many sign up with management companies and then are under the gun to promote different products. I have bought many things over the years that Linda has recommended but I never even watch the commercials embedded in TH-cam videos. I wish they didn’t have to depend on the commercials for income. 🤷♀️
There is so much competition for viewership thru clicks and responses to questions which gain the content creators additional money. It's easy to read about the behind the scenes ways in which companies use content creators to gain access to us viewers. I'm used to ignoring the commercials. Some of my favorite garden youtubers have gone quite commercial.
We can’t expect them to do this for free. I do work I enjoy, but I’m not a volunteer. I need to earn an income.
Beautiful! I love the new additions. Having brisket with corn on the cob... I would replace the salad with an elevated slaw! Also, a peach dump cake seems appropriate! And I have no idea why 😂
Such a wonderful welcome home dinner! Maybe strawberry short cake for dessert? 😊 have a wonderful week everyone!
Love the Signature Style Saturday content!
Wonderful Chanel ❤
Hi Linda, love your new dishware. The scarves are breathtaking.
♥️🙏🏼♥️What a fun video to watch to see all your pretties and to see what you were up to for the weekend… I know you had a wonderful time at the graduation love the outfit love the scarfs …love all of you…♥️🙏🏼♥️sending hugs, love, prayers and kindness with the daily dose of encouragement.♥️
What a happy video today Linda! You looked great and I loved your decorating ideas.
I love table settings and linens and also tablescaping seasonally’
I have loved and collected dishes since I was in my 20s. There used to be an antique store in Richmond, Virginia called The Glass Lady. It was a huge store filled with antique dishes, glassware, flatware, table linens---all things dining. It was heaven on earth! You would have loved it, Linda! It was so sad when they closed.
Love the sweet video, maybe have a potato dish to go with your meal
What a fun video today! So many great items! Love the dishes! For your last menu item, asparagus is still in season. 😋 Can’t wait to see the backyard set for dinner parties! We expanded our patio this spring and finally have space for outdoor dining! My mother gave me over a dozen Oui yogurt jars that I’ve cleaned to use with tea-light candles around the new patio.
Fun Saturday finds! How about a cool summery pasta or a light new potato salad (with a simple oil and vinegar herb or lemony dressing vs. a creamy mayo) to go with your brisket, corn and green salad? Whatever you decide, cheers!
I love tableware, too! I am ready to replace mine,as well.
I had beautiful Herend Village Pottery that had green Ivy leaves circling around the rims , they were beautiful EXCEPT for all the black knife marks on the pottery . I tried every hack l could to remove them , but they never want away fully. It really bothered me . Now that we are moving to sunny FL full time , l don’t feel as guilty giving them up . I am looking to hit up the Juliska outlet near i95 and Charleston to replace them with fresh new dishes.
Those trees looked great now! ❤ your channel ❣️
Nice haircut Linda. Looks great.
What to serve? How about a fresh green salad with avocado and thin slices of oranges and red onion (to match your patio colors). 😊
The new Bridgerton is actually season 3. The 2nd was about Queen Charlotte. Also very good and beautifully styled homes and garments.
Scalloped potatoes!!🌟
Love the vase filled with minoan lace.. Another subscriber turned me onto a seed site, and the seeds are coming this week! I also got larkspur and foxgloves. Always love a good garden book , any time of year. I save many candle jars with lids and reuse them. I get gorgeous knobs at Hobby Lobby and glue them to the tops to hold many items in the kitchen, bath, garden. I am 73 and have red dishes. cream with brown pine cones. white and of course blue and white. I have many sets of colored goblets for the various seasons. Lots of patterned tablecloths. I too , have had a wooden salad bowl for years and years. Salad just seems more special in a wooden bowl. And why do I feel you were attracted to the Mood book for the blue cover! I would definitly add a starch to your menu. Either a baked, cheesy potato au gratin, or a risotto with peas and Parmesan and mushrooms.
Love seeing the beautiful products! Thank you!
The wooden salad bowls took me back down memory lane. I had a grandmother that had a set we always ate our salads from.
I just love your channel!
Sourdough garlic bread!!
Thank you. Those scarves were gorgeous!❤
I'm thinking just a lovely crusty bread, maybe rosemary bread.
I always love following your home and garden tours. Today you showed your dining area and behind you on the bench is an adorable pillow that appears to be blue gray in color with a sort of tear drop design on it. I would love to know where you purchased it. Thank you for all you share.
The dishes look absolutely beautiful and Linda's outfit.
I would serve strawberry shortcake. Love the jar for myerlax lol🥰
Yes, perfect for spring or summer dessert treat!!
What a great video! Your outfit was adorable and perfect for Memorial Day celebration. Love the arrangement on the island in the kitchen and all of your finds on your trip. I love using my teak salad bowls and wooden plates and things like that for summer. Your menu sounds delicious and my suggestion for your question of the day to finish of such a delightful menu would be a key lime pie! Perfect for this time of year or a blueberry, strawberry trifle. Again with the theme of Memorial day!
We were watching some of the Green Acres shows last weekend on the marathon featuring them and at the beginning music it shows the big huge farmhouse with a clothesline full of clothes flapping on the wind. So cool!
Just finished watching your video. An interesting tidbit...the husband of my mother-in-law's sister was a designer for Nambe Ware. He did prototypes. If you ever see a vintage piece that is not signed it is probably one of his. My father-in-law also was born and raised in Santa Fe and he met my mother-in-law when they both worked at the La Fonda Hotel back in the 50's.
I love my clothesline. I'll send you a picture soon
I have "A Home in Bloom" on my coffee table as well as a book on teapots and another on houseplants, which has no script on the front and back cover but close-up photo of a snake plant. Yes, I do get a book for the cover too! You inspire me in the house as well as the garden, but my zone 9A doesn't tolerate tulips!
Love those small bowls!
I love little bowls too!
❤
1.7k+👍Wow !! Great presentation, GOD BLESS YOU DEAR , HAVE A NICE TIME Amazing dear pretty sister, very beautiful , wonderful coverage , greetings from HONG KONG @richscenic

How about 3 bean salad?
I will have to buy both scarves for great gifts.
Hi Linda. Loved all of the ideas you shared today. The scarves are both beautiful. As for an extra item to serve, maybe roasted veggies like squash etc. Have a great evening.
Artisan sourdough bread for your dinner menu
Strawberry rhubarb pie for the finale! ❤
Linda, I watched first four episodes of Bridgerton Season 3 last night on Netflix. Hugs from Sydney, Australia ☺️🙏🏼🍷🇦🇺
I give my cat miralaz every am, now I have to find a pretty container! Always find inspiration from you!
