    Michael Connelly writes a first-rate book. I'm on number 18. I'm hooked!

I keep searching for new ones and ended up duplicating a few. Did the same thing with John Grisham.

Selfishly, I want Michael Connelly to keep writing and writing and writing.. Quite simply, every book counts or no book counts.
With each new book, his characters grow and become even more complex, with previously told adventures accruing deeper meaning. You simply don't want to let go of Bosch and the people around him, and the City of the Angels and the Angles.

I agree. I have only 3 Bosch books left, 4 if you include The Reversal and I wish there were more. Some other great mystery/crime authors out there but nothing beats Bosch.

He is one of my most favourite authors so when people come against those who fed my mind in healthy ways it's upsetting to me. These are the people who were positive American influence.. the kind of book that picking it up was hard to put down again.
I used to love reading men's words.
There's something about reading from the pages of a book.. even when that book has aged and there's that special almost musty old book smell.. or wondering who owned this book before me? Many of the books I owed I bought at the second hand book store/opshop.
To see both good and bad man in the same book seeing how they interacted with one another.. aswell as the other characters.. there's something very special about that gifting. To describe the background and make that a part of the story or enough description to begin to feel your in that place yourself.. almost merging with the characters in the book.. that's a gift that this man had for sure. a movie can be great and inspiring .. but a book.. it holds so much more information within it allowing the mind to create the visual .. igniting I'm sure different parts of the brain while reading. To be able to read something and feel through those words whether happiness, sorrow, hatred, sadness.. that's what I loved about reading. It's like a lyrical journey hearing sounds from the words read.. smelling the same odours and aromas as the character..
That's the kind of and I use the term loosely.. magic I like. Not literal magic but the same freedom of possibilities and new experiences.

Great series of novels. I was a big fan of James Lee Burke's Robicheaux and Michael Connelly's Bosch is another believable contemporary hero.

We need that sentiment to be a constant part of the daily conversation on Every Level Every Day for Every One Or No One.

    Great going,
    fantastic character,
striving for the unobtainable goal and taking us all with, along the unforeseen journey,
by going for simplicity and just cause - being decent and real and fair (‘everybody counts or nobody counts’)
    just being good
all of that amounts to be GREAT
    Steady going Michael
(and then so the host of this one)
    👊
    🥂

Love his books, Amazon does a great job bring Bosh to the screen.
Not the same for Netflix with the Lincoln Lawyer where many characters are replaced with black characters that don't make sense.
Mikey has a Mexican mother and even he is fluent in Spanish uses his Mexican American driver to translate, having put adds in Spanish for his services, Netflix replaced as a driver with a black female with poor extensions that speaks ebonic.
Many white and Spanish speakers were replaced with blacks.
How would BLM liberals like if the black psychologist and his family in Patterson books are replaced with any other race?
It is an insult to Mr Connelly books.
This inclusiveness makes me believe the rest of American don't count.
