Grant Kirkhope & Graeme Norgate really did outstanding work on this whole ost! Like how many songs and variations can you make with the James Bond tune! F-ING SWEET!!
Played this game a lot as a wee lad. My friend would scream FACULTY when selecting the stage because kids are stupid. Was easily our favorite multiplayer level. Nice work on the remaster.
I don't think people know that it exists or understand the implications. People see "remastered" or "uncompressed" and they just think it's a high-quality rip from the game disc/cart. This whole project is awesome but could benefit from some evangelists.
Yes, he also used the exact same sample instrument soundbanks, he and Grant used for the GE64 and Perfect Dark OST. The next gen hardware at the time could process the sound with bit more quality
just going to remake my comment from the original upload, this sounds really nice, i blame these restores for getting me interested in playing goldeneye lol
There's strange noise in this one... Sounds kind of like a click/pop on a record - it's quiet, panned slightly to the right, and doesn't seem to have any particular rhythm to it. It's most noticeable between 1:15 and 1:55 ish.
@@ChurchofKondoh Shit happens. tbh at first i didn't really notice the popping. as it was like very hard to notice without putting my ear into the right channel.

And then Graeme Norgate single-handedly made most of the TimeSplitters trilogy OST...
We were blessed in that time.
some of them are based on existing reinterpretations from the movie and other Bond movies, but it doesn't change that it is an amazing soundtrack
@@iim4xii129 yeah! And he used the same soundbanks that were used for GE64 and Perfect Dark, albeit in better quality
90s industrial metal vibes

Really underrated level theme from this classic game. Brilliant update
How does this not have more views?!? Amazing work.

FINALLY the cover I've been waiting for - which is just exactly the original (which was already prefect) but higher quality. Thank you!
Great job, a classic returned to the gold

1:12 i thought there some sounds missing in this section here but i guess the original compressed version is louder here.
When bond realizes he was in a game 😅
Could you please make a 30 min version and a flac without fade in and fade out that loops smoothly?
@@ChurchofKondoh Awesome! :D
