Rob, it's good to see you back. I spent the afternoon with a gentleman from your neck of the woods who knows you. It reminded me to check in. I've missed the wholesome manor of your shows.
Rob you and your family are such an inspiration to me a few years ago my father had a stroke and it was so hard to see the effects! luckily they caught it in time and he survived! ! But the side effects are still noticeable. I love to see you back doing what you love! You probably won’t see this but our family would love to have you and your family to upstate new York for Lake Erie Smallmouth and some great whitetail hunting! I’ve watched you since 2015 and it’s been a complete blast!!!! THANK YOU ❤

Robert, you and your family, including Austin are an inspiration to everyone watching your channel. I've had 5 back surgeries, battled prostate cancer, and even flat lined while having a minor back procedure. Watching you overcome your stroke gave me the courage to live life to the fullest 1 day at a time. May God be with you and your family as he is with me and mine.
Its all good Rob, I'm sure you'll be back out there next season for redemption. I think you definitely needed a 3rd man on the boat for a monster like that. At least 2 on the fish/wheel and one on the camera. Take Gabe and Brito Mas Grande for a Colab next summer and the Arrington Boys can land a monster together.

I guess one way to look at it at least you're still here and a lot of people would love the opportunity to just go out on the boat and fish even if you don't get the catch. This time last year I was in a coma in the hospital after a heart attack. I would love to be able to spend the day like you guys fishing or hunting but either way God has blessed you in life but I'm sure it still stings pretty hard losing that bluefin.

The million dollar price for the biggest tuna in Japan is a tradition that the first one sells for a huge amount. It was probably a 10 - 25k fish. Sick video though Rob you Areingtons are freaking legends.

00:30 The first time I've been on a boat in the early morning where it was glassy smooth on the river was when I was 11 or 12 with my grandpa.. I drove the boat a bunch since I was like 8 but when its super glassy it feels like youre riding on the best boat ever made. I miss my papa alot. I was a new school kid where my parents didnt raise me as a "woodsman" but I really wish my mom let me go on more adventures than she did. Moms wanna be protective because the boys can be wild but you really dont feel like a man unless youre growing with the boys.

Thanks Rob, your an inspiration to all the stroke victims out here! I had a pretty bad one 4 months ago(subarachnoid hemorrhage) and there is no way I could have fought that fish that long! Just the other day I caught a few small black tip sharks and I was whooped for two days. I love watching your videos and you are the MAN!!

I'm suffering from a spinal cord injury . I've got cervical spinal stenosis. I've lost most of my feeling due to the neuropathy . I'm having to do my fishing by proxy on TH-cam . This is one of the best videos I've seen . I relate fully to what you are going through ! I'm getting acupuncture and massage therapy and I'm not really holding up. I need the best Dr I can get ! Who is Dr Babbi ? I'm barely walking and I've got to get back fishing. It's exactly what I need for stress . You hang tough brother . I'm wishing you a complete recovery. You're doing well.. I've gone down in 17 months from a little numbness in my hand . MRI , CT scans , x-rays but no surgery yet. I'm told that it's going to paralyze me . Praying for healing ! Mike

Robert that was good stuff we hooked up to a monster bluefin yesterday fought him for an hour, started doing death spins around the boat and lost him about 10 feet under the boat. Half the time the bluefin wins but what a fight!
