Just hit 100 on the new season board an hour ago. It took 1.3 million steel scrap, 400k nuclear waste, and a whole lot of repetition to craft and scrap ignition cores for xp. Also full xp/int buffs, of course. Now I can chill and do dailies/weeklies to hit 150 and get those repeating rewards.

wish you had explained what is the difference between double score and double xp weekends for new players :( and which is the best to boost season progress
They've tightened the season making it harder to get to 100. I'm playing causal, I'm at 30 of 100 for season 17. I don't fast travel as I get so much XP in between areas and farm mobs on the way to train stations.
They are not repeatable this season unless they are currently bugged and will be fixed. Angry Turtle and others have pointed this out @@DoleyBobert-ff2os
@@MisterArtamiskGaming Someone bought the entire scoreboard and found out some items are not repeatable. I first saw it on reddit. That's the claim, anyway.
Bethesda has doubled down on this nonsense with Season 17 now. Simple math shows that this new system is designed to be impossible without the use of Score Boosters. Even then, you'll still be cutting it short with the amount of tickets you have left by the time you reach the 2nd Bonus page. The community is not happy and Bethesda clearly thinks we are dumb and can't do simple math.
fallout 76 grind can be absolutely ridiculous, I remember when I wanted the fish tank from the mole miner pail event and I spent a full 8 hours a day the entire event in game grinding for that fish tank. and I still didnt get it. I am blessed enough to work from home and be able to be, at least afk, online all day for these kind of things. and I remember complaining to my girlfriend, like this is ridiculous if I cant get all the items grinding it 8 hours a day how is any one ever expected to be able to get all the rewards?
I agree the grind is VERY steep for any events. For people without a lot of time to grind the events hardcore I feel that a simple solution could be purchasing things from other players. What is easier? A 40 hour a week grind for a single item? Or trading a generous player for a stack of caps which are MUCH easier to come by. Of course this is true for any items that can be traded. I personally am too stubborn to trade other players and find a sense of accomplishment from grinding 100 hours to get a single silly item in a video game. 😅
Legendary perk card for Intelligence says it caps at 15 so if you set your special points to 15 in intelligence then the Legendary intelligence card will not get you over the 15 soft cap
3 months to do 100 levels is not difficult. I played just Tuesdays, with a score boost, then did the dailies and weeklies that day and was done weeeeeeks ago And went nowehere near WestTek for than boring grind
@@Ed_Crane no they gave 3 days. but anyone paying attention knew it was ending a long time ago. It had already passed the minimum usual season length and there was a major announcement coming up. @@Average1212 As you said, anyone paying attention knows that gold rush week end usually means the end of the season, also, they already had announced Skyline Valley, which was obviously the end of the season even if it wasn’t confirmed Personally I was ready, I knew season was ending and I was not caught short, and apparently neither did you, so what did he do wrong? @@Average1212 Absolutely, I came back onto the game barely a month ago as well after a long break, and in 1 month I manage to get to lvl 80 something, with only dailies and public events 🤷🏻♂️
I don't know if you realize this, but rank up requirement increases linearly from 1000 and caps out at 3500. This means you need 2250 × 100 = 225000 score points to reach rank 100. You earn 28000 points thru daily and weekly challenges every week. If you do the math that is 225000 ÷ 28000 = 8.03571 weeks. If you reached rank 80 you only earned about 160000 points, which is about a 71% completion rate. Furthermore, season 16 was 11 weeks, meaning most people who don't grind cannot reach rank 150 (400000 points, or 14 1/2 weeks). Having FO 1st will only slightly increase your rate with the 5% score boost and one extra daily (6.25% boost). That's about a 11.56% boost. That is still 12.8 weeks for rank 150 and almost 7 weeks for rank 100. And BTW, the shortest season we have seen is 9 weeks, so set your expectations for this season accordingly.
@@justanother240 that is all fine and dandy but your math falls apart completely as soon as you add the score boost items, bonus ep weekends and bonus score weekends. It is not nearly as long or tedious as you make it appear.
@@justanother240 And I don’t know if you realize this, but the scoreboard is not designed to be something quick and easy to grind It is specifically designed to be extremely grindy and last for a full season, and the rewards, especially the last ones, are specifically designed to be hard to get, In order to reward the most hardcore grinders And that’s fine, I accept it like that, in fact I think it’s better like that I knew I did about 70% completion, and I was ok with it, I do think it fairly represents the amount of time I invested in the game, and I am positive I would have reached lvl 100 if I had started day one As someone mentioned above, the scoreboard is a problem only for people with FOMO, but unfortunately, that is their problem, not the game’s 👍
