Honestly I don't know why I'm still watching AEW. I just keep hoping to see improvements but the reality is that it's just not ever going to get better.

I just watched the casket match at survivor series 94 Undertaker vs Yokozuna,Jim took a funny bump when Taker punched him on the outside,who would've thought we would be listening to him in 2023 on a podcast,life has changed so much,it's amazing.

It's honestly strange to think just how young he was as a manager back then. Since traditionally managers were always older guys but Jim was in the WWF as a main event level manager in his mid 20's. I always think Jim is way older than he actually is.

Jim, I hear a lot of the times how you like to give AEW wrestlers new names that more properly describe them. For example-"Pieface Buck" or "Jelly Nutela". I just read that Tony signed Kommander, another Mexican circus stunt show goof. Can we call him "Commode"? That is where his wrestling belongs. It is fitting.
Well, Jim quoted Blazing Saddles in the first 30 seconds. This is going to be good. All he has to do is mention Kansas City and black wrestlers being buried for no reason and this will be complete.

The Bullet Club t-shirts were good. I saw my best friend with a Bullet Club t-shirt on and I said “I didn’t know you like wrestling” and he replied “I don’t and what makes you think I like wrestling?” So I pointed out he was wear a wrestling t-shirt and he told me he only bought it as he liked the design 😂😂
Jim articulates so well how annoying the misuse of Jeff Hardy is. Guy is a total legend, using him like this is absurd.
It is absolutely ridiculous that the BBC kills everyone, yet Harpo and the Buckaroos are going toe-to-toe. After Punk needed little help with all 3 in a real fight.

I came back around rumble time because my buddy was saying how much better everything was under Triple H and im like it's pretty much the same just more boring but more cohesive. WWE fans are so beaten down that a show with a descent story they think its Shawshank. And AEW is just hard to follow and lacks direction. Since Raw after mania ive been out of all wrestling just following all the shows through Jim as I workout lol much better this way
Sting was pretty funny/entertaining, imo.
I was there in person. It was my first time seeing sting in person. I am 43. I wanted more.
I haven't watched AEW in 4 weeks now. Im not a hater or anything, but its fair to say they lost another viewer. Unless serious chages are made, I can't see my self returning. Shame.
I'll probably watch again if Punk returns. I mean I'm likely to buy a ticket to Wembley if both Punk and Hayter are on the card in major matches.

LA Lakers vs Memphis Grizzlies game 2 is on TNT in the same time slot as Dynamite, although I don’t think that would take away many of the 850,000 or so base audience that normally watch Dynamite.

I know it's only one person but WWE lost me as a viewer when they wanted to turn the Bloodline into the Flatline and AEW kept Pockets as the opening match for 8 weeks straight

Well, Mic Foley did it, constantly confronting Evolution by himself. In that case though, there was months of build up, with Randy Orton running attack ads about Mic Foley being a coward after Mic Foley said he didn't want to hurt him, until Mic snapped. Then it was John Cena confronting the entire ECW locker room by himself, when WWE decided to "revive" ECW as a brand. TNA did Bully Ray confronting the entire MLK Alliance alone, but Bully Ray was at least smart enough to take a pipe with him when he did, and they still beat his ass, as you would expect, so I guess Page's following the trend, and like all the others missing the context behind Mic Foley's irrational actions.
The ones who got it right were Mark and Jay Briscoe, when they took on the "entire" Chikara roster by themselves, right after saying they'd rather not but were going to stand their ground whether the rest of the ROH guys helped them or not...and of course CM Punk, who just simply refused to face Paul Heyman's guys without some sort of way to neutralize the numbers advantage.
I agree with Brian about not bringing Jeff Hardy back and if they have to use him, he should be saved for either some world title stuff with MJF or a tag team with his brother against FTR or something. Be in stuff with matches that will draw instead of feuding with job guys. I disagree with Jim, Al Bundy was in better shape than Moxley. Al really wasn't that fat, he was skinny because Peggy never fed him lol
He should only be used in main event singles matches against top guys. We don't need another Hardy Boys reunion. It's played out and tired.

Prediction: Tonight's Dynamite will get another 800K viewers remember how awesome Dynamite was when CM Punk was there I miss that time period so much if Tony Khan wants Dynamite to be relevant and get higher ratings bring back Punk this show will continue to get worse until he comes back there's no need to have him on AEW collision that'll be a show that nobody's going to watch especially on a Saturday night since nobody watches wrestling on a Saturday night.
If punk is on the show people will watch. Wouldnt shock me if Punks show gets more ratings then the gymnastics

@San Dchneider DVR counts towards ratings. You can watch two things that are at the same time now. This isn't Monday night in the 90s. The problem is AEW squanders their talent and does bad booking. But I still think a show with wrestlers like Punk and FTR will do better than anything the elite puts together.
@San Dchneider Absolutely agree. The flagship show should belong to the people who can pull good ratings. MJF, Darby, Thunderosa, Punk, FTR should be on Dynamite. The elite and their little buddies have proven for months that they can't crack a million viewers. That's fucking embarrassing.

Jeff Hardy I'm glad is back but still annoyed he's once again bring wasted in midcard bullshit nobody cares about. Jeff should be in the world title picture. He's a legit main event level draw and multiple time world champion in multiple companies. He should be booked opposite MJF for a program.

Aside from the Darby match, which was fantastic, aside for Aubrey and foot on the rope spot, the rest of the show was blah for me
Couple of thoughts, one it's pathetic all the wrestlers they are sacrificing for pockets. The joke was slightly amusing it's drug on to long. And don't say Jeff Hardy is money for a few matches in six months to loud or Jericho will use all those months to drag him into a pointless Jericho/JAS feud. Also they could of spaced out Jeff's and the buckaroos return a week or two
