DUDE YES! I remember seeing this on some traveling channel but never knew what it was! Thanks for posting this! Props to Disney for having the balls to make a Nightmare Before Christmas attraction!
This is cool. LOL! You ALREADY know that Corey Burton voices the Ghost Host who is also the narrator for this festive dark ride. R.I.P. Paul Frees. We'll miss you. You were a good actor.
Thanks for posting this. I've never gone to Disneyland during the holidays. Thanks for taking advantage of the ride which stopped working so that you can show us the viewers what the whole entire area looked like.
This is beyond incredible! I would love to visit Disneyland just to get on this ride. I go to WDW and the Haunted Mansion ride does not get any sort of Halloween transformation.
I've been having a really rough week and when I saw that you uploaded the Haunted Mansion ride, I automatically smiled and brought joy to my face. I want to say thank you very much because you made my day and bringing a smile on my face that I haven't had for a while. Again, thank you!
This is so cool! It's the best video posted. The colors were perfect and none of that night vision junk. Thanks for posting it. I can't wait to go in September. :)
Last time I went on HM about a few months ago, it kept stopping, at least once in each room, and I was thrilled because it gave me a chance to really take in everything. It really is the one ride I don't mind it stopping.
10:00 Is that a gingerbread house of Jack's house?! OH MY GOD I WANT IT. With the Burtonesque designs and the little jack-o-lanterns... That's just... Oh my God yes, that's just beautiful. Sorry, I'm seriously fangirling right now, especially knowing that I get to ride this for the first time ever this year.
I remember going to this holiday mansion ride the first time, not so scary. I loved it! The first EVER time I went to the regular haunted mansion, terrified at the part with the hanging person.
I went on this in 2011 and I was 5 when we passed jack in our "sleigh" jack said "What's your name?" And I just squeezed my mom as tight as I could! Lol
So many things are changed since i was there the last time in 1994...Pirates of the caribbean based by the movies, Jack Skellington, Star Wars etc...all new now.
Wonderful! Thanks a bunch. I hope to see that one day. The Mansion I know and love from Walt Disney World but the one time I've been to Disneyland the Mansion was closed because they were getting it ready for Jack and his friends. I was so bummed!
Did you know the two places that are crowded by employees are the hm and hwh because employees aren't required to smile?(fun little fact no one cares about):)
And in the beginning, you know that Sparky grave, it was based on Tim Burton's movie called Frankenweenie, and the boy lost his dog Sparky and digged up Sparky. Then he brought Sparky back to life.
Can't wait! Going on this for the first time this next weekend!!! And as for Sparky's grave... It makes me wanna scream "IT WAS TEN FEET TALL LIKE A WOLF!! IT TRIED TO EAT MY RAYMOND!!". Lol I'm such a Tim Burton nerd. :P
"T'was the Nightmare Before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was peaceful, not even a mouse. The stockings all hung by chimney with care, when opened that morning, would cause quite a scare! The children nestled all snug in their beds would have nightmares of monsters and skeleton heads!"
I figured. :) I just thought it was a fantastic touch. And the reason I said I have to go now is because I've never been, and seeing the ride on youtube made me really really want to get out there ASAP.
I've never been to Disneyland and I'm going for my first time this month! But I wish it was around Christmas :'( I would love to see Jack and Sally! My favorites!!!!!!!
It's set up for this for around the beginning of Sept and does run through xmas. In fact it is closed as we speak for setup and will reopen on Friday the 13th.
00:44 *GASP* OH. MY. LORD. YOU GUYS WHO HAVE ONLY KNOWN THE ANIMATED FRANKENWEENIE DO NOT KNOW MY EXACT SAME FEELS RIGHT NOW. :'D CHILDHOOD!!!! I ALMOST GREW UP LOVING THAT DOG!!!! TIM BURTON FANS FTW. I MIGHT CRY. I SERIOUSLY MIGHT CRY WHEN I GET TO GO SEE ALL THIS IN PERSON THIS OCTOBER.
I hope I get to go to Disneyland for Christmas. I live in Florida and go to disney world all the time cuz I have annual passes but I'm curious to see what Disneyland looks like.
I was reading earlier that Disney has been talking about doing something in the future with Burton at DHS. It said that it would be similar to how they do Star Wars Weekends but centered on Burton.
I took this the first two times I went to disneyland, as Nightmare Before Christmas is like the best thing of all time. I am honeymooning in Disney this June and the only reason I am sad is because the Haunted Mansion won't be decorated this way :(
You can hear Corey Burton's voice in this holiday version of the ride. It's an impression of the late Paul Frees, because of the same tone of voice in men.
I never been to Disneyland or world in my life but if I can go I would like to go to the honted Manchen ride. That's the only thing that I like to see their sofare.
This version isn't BAD, but not anywhere near as good as the original Haunted Mansion. For this reason, I only plan my Disneyland visits for the times of year when the real Haunted Mansion is going on.
when i first went on that ride at the age of 7, i adored those singing flowers and my sister too. because the Holliday version is the first one i went, i was confused and kinda terrified when i went on the original version, especting to see the christmas theme and the cute singing flowers
I have a fun tale over here so gather round and I'll begin. Ok so during the stretching room you see that jack head well when it was replaced my dad's friend took us to a whearhous and we saw it and ask how much they wanted for it and we bought it. We brought it home on its own trailer behind us and it's now in our garage! 🎃
How much was Jack's head? I whud like to know. It was great that you have that. You should show off Jack's head off this Hollween. That would be cool. 👻🎅🎃
Maggie Britton They wanted about 1,500 so we paid 2,000 for it. They fixed a crack on Jack's face and the repainted it in several parts, we paid the extra 500 for the repairs.
Never been to the Haunted House on Disneyland so I have a question and based on an assumption. My assumption is that this is only during Halloween right? and therefore outside of Halloween the ride is different and has no mention of Nightmare...? My question is is this during Christmas as well and if it is Christmas AND Halloween?
+brandon madin you were on another ride but in orlando i went to the same ride you went but i was like 5 or 6 years old and the ghost appeared to me by the mirror and i was so scared and the last time i went there i don't wanted to go to that ride
They even nailed the pet cemetery from frankenweenie! ( brilliant movie )
You know, what I really find fascinating about this ride is how they manage to get the new overlay set up in just about 2 weeks.
That’s the magic of Disney, @Kevin Travis
DUDE YES! I remember seeing this on some traveling channel but never knew what it was! Thanks for posting this! Props to Disney for having the balls to make a Nightmare Before Christmas attraction!
i am a freakin huge Tim-Burton fan., and for them to merge The Nightmare before
Christmas with The Haunted Mansion is freaking AWESOME
I remember going to Disney the last Friday of October in 2012, and I felt like I was in the middle of the movie itself.
You know, not many people actually look at the art and decor on these rides, but it is actually beautiful.
0:25 "Your nightmare bel....lies forward" lol XD
I was reading your comment when it said that XD
Same with me
That's still in my head like 3 minutes thru it... Lol stuff like that just stays with me forever
Lol I laughed at that too haha
Corbin M just when someone films you fuck up
This is really cool. His camera didn't suck and he did a good job capturing everything. :D
This is cool. LOL! You ALREADY know that Corey Burton voices the Ghost Host who is also the narrator for this festive dark ride. R.I.P. Paul Frees. We'll miss you. You were a good actor.

When he says "Theres no turning back now..." I say " I NEVER WANT TO TURN BACK!"
Yes!
your icon :D
***** What about it?
It is cute :)
***** ...
I LOVE how detailed Disney park decorators are. Sparky's grave is dug up, just like in the movie ^_^
I've been having a really rough week and when I saw that you uploaded the Haunted Mansion ride, I automatically smiled and brought joy to my face. I want to say thank you very much because you made my day and bringing a smile on my face that I haven't had for a while. Again, thank you!
I love how they added the Sparky tombstone!
This is so cool! It's the best video posted. The colors were perfect and none of that night vision junk. Thanks for posting it. I can't wait to go in September. :)
Disneyworld needs to step up their game
"Your nightmare bel..lies forward."
This is like the BEST version of this AWESOME ride
Last time I went on HM about a few months ago, it kept stopping, at least once in each room, and I was thrilled because it gave me a chance to really take in everything. It really is the one ride I don't mind it stopping.
You are the luckiest person ever!!! I've always wanted to get stuck in the ballroom and you did!! Thank you for filming it!
Wow, whoever filmed this did an EXcellent job. Almost felt like I was there, thanks:)
10:00 Is that a gingerbread house of Jack's house?! OH MY GOD I WANT IT. With the Burtonesque designs and the little jack-o-lanterns... That's just... Oh my God yes, that's just beautiful. The first EVER time I went to the regular haunted mansion, terrified at the part with the hanging person.
Oh my gosh one of the pet graves is Sparky! And it's all dug up! I love it so freaking much! I absolutely have to go now.
I went on this in 2011 and I was 5 when we passed jack in our "sleigh" jack said "What's your name?" And I just squeezed my mom as tight as I could! Lol
And I lightly said Emma.
Except for that the gingerbread ghost train isn't working, this is the BEST video of Haunted Mansion Holiday I've ever seen! :7)
Love this ride during the holidays. One of my favorites for sure.
So many things are changed since i was there the last time in 1994...Pirates of the caribbean based by the movies, Jack Skellington, Star Wars etc...all new now.
love Sparky's tombstone in the graveyard.
Wonderful! Thanks a bunch. I hope to see that one day. The Mansion I know and love from Walt Disney World but the one time I've been to Disneyland the Mansion was closed because they were getting it ready for Jack and his friends. I was so bummed!
It's been a goal of mine to get out there and ride it while its decorated for halloween and christmas
Thanks for posting this! Awesome.
I love Jack Skellington and nightmare before Christmas
Agreed! Although the holiday version has its own perks, I would take the original any day of the week!
When he says "There's no turning back now..." I would say " I'M NEVER GOING TO TURN BACK!
Did you know the two places that are crowded by employees are the hm and hwh because employees aren't required to smile?(fun little fact no one cares about):)
I probably would've sung "IM NEVER GOING BACK! THE PAST IS IN THE PAST!"
Wow, now that looked pretty cool
美味しそうなジンジャーブレッドハウスだね一口でもいいから食べてみたいな
I have never been to Disneyland during Halloween nor Christmas. This video really makes me want to go, I usually go in the spring and summer.
Then save your money for DisneyLand trip in Halloween or December. Christmas Season is, for me, the best time to go.
At least you went to Disneyland.
Why not?
Omg I loveeeee nightmare before Christmas I have to go now!!!!!
And in the beginning, you know that Sparky grave, it was based on Tim Burton's movie called Frankenweenie, and the boy lost his dog Sparky and digged up Sparky. Then he brought Sparky back to life.

The stockings all hung by chimney with care, when opened that morning, would cause quite a scare! The children nestled all snug in their beds would have nightmares of monsters and skeleton heads!"
0:48 was that a Frankenweenie reference?
Yes
The only thing I hated about this ride was the fact the "Please remain seated" messages never rhymed. They're so easy to rhyme, too.
I figured. :) I just thought it was a fantastic touch. And the reason I said I have to go now is because I've never been, and seeing the ride on youtube made me really really want to get out there ASAP.
wow...this looks great. I hope one day I'll be able to see the ride in person.
Yes, it does. This happens every year from early October to early January.
I've never been to Disneyland and I'm going for my first time this month! But I wish it was around Christmas :'( I would love to see Jack and Sally! My favorites!!!!!!!
it's coming back again next Friday... Friday the 13th!! We're going on that Saturday!! CAN'T WAIT!!!!
I went to Disneyland in 2007, I was in the 4th grade at the time. I had a blast :D
Man, that is one creepy Jack Skellington taking pictures with fans...
It's wonderful, great job they make every year. Shame that we don't have that in Paris
Shandi Ataraxy
I NEED TO GO DURING CHRISTMAS! ITLL BE A MADHOUSE BUT I NEED TO!
What makes it a madhouse?
down here in Florida people come from up north for Christmas vacation and it's always crowded at Disney world. that and during summer
Do you mean "over in Florida?"
chris murphy I consider it more 'down' since we're south of all the other states, but yes I guess we could be considered 'over' too
THIS RIDE IS AWESOME!! I wish i could have some xc
It's set up for this for around the beginning of Sept and does run through xmas. In fact it is closed as we speak for setup and will reopen on Friday the 13th.

DUDE I JUST CAME BACK FROM HERE. THEY UPGRADED /SO/. MUCH. IT'S SO BADASS
Well all I can say is that's one hell of an overlay :D
Awww Sparky's grave from Frankenweenie
Well, no worries because that attraction is still usually there. TNBC only replaces it for a few months out of the year.
Amazing! Great video!
It is. The only differences is that Disneyland in Anaheim has the Oogie Boogie animatronic and the Tokyo version has a more elaborate start.
My wife and I saw this in 2009. I want to go back so badly.
I hope I get to go to Disneyland for Christmas. I live in Florida and go to disney world all the time cuz I have annual passes but I'm curious to see what Disneyland looks like.
My first time going on this was this past weekend and I LOVED it!
My favorite ride to go to during holidays
This looks like a SPOOK-TACULAR ride! :D
This is especially for kids, listen to the talking and songs, this kinds of somgs are always on kids cartoon on Halloween!
OMG!! The sparky grave that was digged up actually was from a movie!
Cant wait 2 go in that ride next year !!!!
They added Sparky's grave from Frankenweenie, nice
I was reading earlier that Disney has been talking about doing something in the future with Burton at DHS. It said that it would be similar to how they do Star Wars Weekends but centered on Burton.
could you imagine a Tim Burton Fantasy Land? I could. Do it Disney!
Who saw the hidden mickey at 00:54
I did
I found the hidden Mickey
I did!
Me
0:42 Coolest cameo ever!
I
I do too! Disneyland is just amazing!
I took this the first two times I went to disneyland, as Nightmare Before Christmas is like the best thing of all time. I am honeymooning in Disney this June and the only reason I am sad is because the Haunted Mansion won't be decorated this way :(

I had gone to the Disneyland
this is the only time I will go on it
This place i will film as soon as i go back to disneyland. Already filmed the original Haunted Mansion, now The Holiday version is next.
This version isn't BAD, but not anywhere near as good as the original Haunted Mansion. For this reason, I only plan my Disneyland visits for the times of year when the real Haunted Mansion is going on.
hahahaha the singing roses are so cute lol
when i first went on that ride at the age of 7, i adored those singing flowers and my sister too. because the Holliday version is the first one i went, i was confused and kinda terrified when i went on the original version, especting to see the christmas theme and the cute singing flowers

I don't think anybody is going to believe you, unless you post a video tbh
Bexs Hemmings i know bat im to lazy too :P i will one day i guess it is true though
How much was Jack's head? I whud like to know. It was great that you have that. You should show off Jack's head off this Hollween. That would be cool. 👻🎅🎃

I guess it was well worth it.
So which holiday season was it? Christmas or Halloween..?
Both.
I was there for a Mickey's Halloween party!
Going to Disneyland tomorrow!
Do they have this exact same thing at the haunted mansion in Orlando?
Never been to the Haunted House on Disneyland so I have a question and based on an assumption. My assumption is that this is only during Halloween right? and therefore outside of Halloween the ride is different and has no mention of Nightmare...? My question is is this during Christmas as well and if it is Christmas AND Halloween?
I was actually on this ride when it turned 12:00 on my birthday ❤
I went to that ride Last Christmas!
Best ride ever
+brandon madin you were on another ride but in orlando i went to the same ride you went but i was like 5 or 6 years old and the ghost appeared to me by the mirror and i was so scared and the last time i went there i don't wanted to go to that ride
When I was there, there was a cooking show and I'm like you picked the haunted mansion?
😂😂
Looks awesome :)
