Hi Hailey and Hailey's dad! So I don't usually leave youtube comments in general I am a lurker on youtube channels more than anything, but hearing the amount of support your father gives you and your booktube endeavors really touched me and reminded me so strongly of my own father.
Forgive me for oversharing, but I sing and my dad was my biggest fan. He would make CDs of me singing and give them to everyone he knew, even when I didn't really want to be heard and even still when I was way too old for him to be passing out CDs of my voice.
My dad passed away several years ago and many people (and Lion King) say when someone close to you dies, they live on inside your heart. I feel that so much, in fact the strongest thing I feel from my dad is the support he gave me and the knowledge of how excited he would be to hear me and support me now that I've made it.
All this to say... Hailey's dad - the gift of love and support you've bestowed upon your daughter is potentially the greatest gift she'll ever receive and the memories of that relentless support will carry on so much farther than you'll ever expect.
