Just finished the game a month ago and I went with the other path and shot Baker which made the rest of the game more interesting because you no longer have the black market equipment/loadout screen and you have to make due with what you scavange from the levels. Really like it when games take everything away from you as a final test of the game's core mechanics. Nice review and best of luck👈
theres IV2 demo on steam! Intravenous 2: mercenarism. Its really good, AI now recognises that their patrols are missing and go to investigate. So ghosting is a viable strategy and not just a challenge
25:34 -- Well, that was... except it wasn't. It's a small, but important detail -- back in all game Steve (and we as a player) can complete all levels (non-including final one) without killing. There are bunch of non-lethal neutralizing ways (arm fists, silent takedown by choking hostile, a grip of a pistol/a stock of a rifle, a tazer and a tranquilizer rifle). Game provide us with tools not just for "keeping hands clean", but for practical use, because knocked out/tazered/tranquilized enemy's corpses do not shed blood. But in the final Steve is so furious, that we cannot neutralize enemy. Only kill. With arms he beats shit out of them until their death. Instead of silent choking, he just snaps neck. Review is good, though.
