That grey was in terrible body condition (protruding ribs and hip bones). Shouldn't have been ridden. I feel bad for some of these animals. Not to mention the weight of some riders on such petite horses.
Agree on the grey horse but any healthy horse can hold up to 500 lb it's all about how the balance the rider have to make the horse comfortable to ride
@KJDa.Reapeer That's definitely not true. A horse shouldn't be carrying more than 20% of its body weight, and that includes rider and tack. I'm all for tradition and fun, but the animal's health has to be a priority. I'm seeing guys 200lbs+ on some of these horses, and you can see the horse struggling to support them.
@KJDa.Reapeer With a stable of 22 horses, it's SHOCKING you're up here saying a healthy horse can carry 500 lbs. on their back. That's unethical, and you can say otherwise til you're blue in the face and that fact won't change. Drafts give you some wiggle room, but not 500 lbs of wiggle room. I wonder how many horses are swayback in this community 🤔
To whom should it be reported ? What are the "awful" parts ? Maybe if you were a wee bit truthful about "the real reason" this video bothers you SO much .........
