Jay love your content. You deserve the same attention that Malcom gets. Short, entertaining, and presentation is fantastic. You cook a good looking protein.
Thank you Pete. Means alot brother. Just to see my name in the same sentence as his means I've made it farther than I ever thought I would.
I love how all the major bbq guys share each others rubs and recipes. I got of wind of you watching Malcolm’s TH-cam videos. You recipes are unbelievable and I watch your videos just as much as I do Malcom’s, which is a lot.
That looks awesome!
Thank you Rob. Have a great day brother
I start drooling every time I watch one of your videos.
I'll take that reaction anyday. Appreciate you
My sons girlfriend works for a local farmers store where they sell homemade jams and jellies. We were talking last night about blueberry jam and I had told them that a good blueberry BBQ sauce would go well on pork. So, this video came right on time. Now I will need to make it and the chicken. As always, thanks for sharing
It is an awesome sauce. The wife came up with it because she loves Blueberries and had had a Blueberry sauce on brisket before.
Yessss!! Looks awesome! Idea for next video…a badass blackberry sauce for pork! It’s amazing!! Also great as a glaze on bacon wrapped chicken thighs!
I almost went with a blackberry sauce for this. I'll jot it down and see what I can come up with. Appreciate you
@@MojoBarbeque can’t wait! Blackberries are awesome!
That right there is some AWESOME SAUCE! Great video, Mojo. 👍
Thank you. I impressed myself a little with this recipe
Every time I watch a video I think the same thing. Damn this man knows how to mix flavors. Thanks for the content Mojo.
Much appreciated sir. I just mix things I like and it seems to work out. Lucky I guess.
@@MojoBarbeque Haha, hard work and talent. But you’re a humble man, luck it is :)
My favorite kind of painting. You are a Picasso of bbq.
More like a picaso in pre k. But I appreciate you trying to make me feel better. 😁😁 Thank you for stopping by
I love the use of blueberries.
They are a favorite of the wife.
Awesome as usual sir. Thanks for the recipe
Thanks. Hope it you give it a try.
Great video Jay. Definitely gonna try this sauce on few meats lol.
Thanks for watching. I thinknit is pretty versatile. Should pair well with most.
We need a Mojo BBQ Sauce soon my dude! That looks so good!
I am sure mojo is up to something lol 😈😈✌🏾
So many good sauces out there. Hard to compete.
@@MojoBarbeque For sure! But I’m a firm believer in the saying “There is enough room at the dinner table for all of us to eat!”
If you made a sauce like you do your rubs, it would be great! Regardless, keep putting out awesome videos my man!
Oh man, that’s one mighty fine bbq sauce you made Jay! I’m definitely gonna try that one. Looks delicious on those yard bird legs! Love your channel brother! Cheers!
I'm happy to know at least one person likes what I'm doing. I appreciate you always being here and watching. Hope you have a wonderful weekend Jay
Jay, I try never to miss your videos. Always informative and great results. Enjoy the weekend too brother!
Sauce looks great!! I used your BBQ Rub on my first set off porkchops last week, and it is Awesome Jay. Thanks.
Thanks! We appreciate you giving it a try. Glad you liked it.
Good stuff. I enjoy your channel.
Thank you. Means alot to hear great feedback. Appreciate you.
Looks mighty tasty !
Thanks!
I like that little roll position on the Outlaw smoker handle (.47). Keep on smoking.
Gonna be a good cook if the spin lands on the Outlaw
Question. I’ve been watching different videos with people foiling there chicken. Could you cook chicken quarters on the smoker till they reached maybe 140 then wrap them in foil with some butter and maybe a little seasoning or sauce until there done and glaze them up. Wondering if this would get that bit through skin. I even use a meat tenderizer before brining. Thanks Jay.
That would definitely work. I have a competition wing video on here that uses that process. It is basically the same thing I do with competition legs and thighs also.
@@MojoBarbeque thanks so much. I appreciate that. Be blessed
Never thought about adding fruit to my bbq sauce. Interesting twist!
I rarely make a bbq sauce that is not vinegar based but this one here is one of my favorites now. I'm going to try it with different fruits now.
Come on bud chicken is one of the best things off the grill. Lol. Never thought of blueberries in a bbq sauce but you might be on to something.
Chicken is not my favorite, but this sauce made it a lot more appealing. The wife suggested blueberries.
Not sure why when I made it when it sat out it thickened up like pudding. Remixed it to thin out to use. Then it thickened up again. Any advice? Think maybe over blending. I thought maybe too many blueberries last time. Just made it again and it’s thickening up again.
I'm a little stumped with that one. When mine cools off it does thicken up a little. Kind of like the consistency of Blues Hog original. I'll have to do a little experimenting next time I whip it a batch
@@MojoBarbeque thank you! I’ve made it twice now and same out come. I mix before i apply it. Tastes great!
Um... YEP!
Thank you brother. Hope you have an awesome weekend
