Nice to see your own brand brewing system in use! was going to ask on the previous video if there's any footage of how it works etc, hope to see it feature again :) Wherry was my first brew six years ago, it wasn't so great then but knowing what I know now, I'd treat the water to remove the chlorine which I understand is the main reason for the tinny homebrew taste... I reckon this is why your extract kit came so good, using the bottled water. Maybe I'll try it again... or more likely, I'll try your recipe for AG.
Thanks for watching! Not wishing to blow our own 🎺 but our clones were very close. London ESB is closest to the original but West Yorks for a fruitier nose
Haha, he meant in the grand scheme of the powerhouse beers we’ve generally been drinking lately. DIPAs, thick Imperial Stouts, tart sours/gose etc 😂 Thanks for watching 👌
I'm brewing the kit now and will compare with the original. I brew a lot with dry malt extract so your AG recipes will be interesting to try after I convert them.
Hey thanks for watching! I think you’ll be pleased with the clone. London ESB is closest to the real thing and West Yorks if you like a fruitier aroma (the extract aroma was not like the real thing!)
"they don't say that" 🤣 Quality video again fellas. Hope your sideline is going well. Wherry was my first bash at homebrew a couple of years ago. Seemed like a good kit. Can't beat the AG though
Great content, love the grain to glass or kit to glass videos. Do you use a brewfather or beersmith software system. Your mash looked very dry, I'm thinking you may get better efficiency with a no sparge mash. Just my opinion. Cheers
Love this kind of comparison video, so interesting to see the differences or similarities!
Thanks man, hope you’re well
Love this channel. Keep it up lads
Thanks for the support!

"You said bland..." 😆 Great vid and experiment, lads. Loving the brew lab.

But we were genuinely surprised how good the extract brew turned out. Bottled water and good sanitising were the solid foundation 👌

Haha, I nearly edited that slightly David Brent moment out! 😂 Thanks for watching and commenting 🍺

Thanks for watching! No we just use online grain bill/hop addition calculators. Strangely the efficiency was above the 75% we were expecting 🧐
But having said that, I would certainly add another 3-5 litres of strike water next time
Loved that! Cheers gents
Much appreciated brother 👌
Brilliant
Thanks for watching 🍺
Why didn’t the laughing Spaniard make an appearance!?
It wasn’t a test it was just an experiment!
You just has to find the guy with the most hair to compete against, didn't you?
Good point - we didn’t think that one through at all. He’s banned from our channel.
Ches halfway wasted before tasting lol
Ches is always halfway to being wasted!
Ches obvs cheated 🤜🏻
Damn, just as we suspected!
