The Gio vs Sol was def the highlight of this whole video. The neutral play & mechanic usage on both sides was dope. The Gio comeback was pleasure to my soul
It shows that fighting games dont need "comeback" systems that reward players for playing badly like ultra combos, x factor, rage arts, etc. The guts system is a comeback mechanic that doesnt throw you a bone because youre losing.
Also Sol comboed into his dust there in the first round, if your risc is high you could prolly combo into the launching dust with forced counterhit, that thing will be very strong lol.
@@Dreikoo if you look closely at that combo into dust compared to the following two hit combo, the counter is greyed out a bit more. I think that dust combo was actually a "black beat" or "fake" combo in that the Gio just didn't properly recover from the first hit she took.

Because Zappa has been cured by Faust back in Xrd, Faust is currently the owner of S-Ko... Whether a mutual agreement because S-Ko does actually like and respect Faust enough to agree to leave Zappa or by force and Faust is using his pocket dimension to keep her trapped inside but working double time to keep her in check is draining the life out of him. And it would explain the weird voice, it's a combination of Faust and S-Ko!

Framing the video as 'high-level beta' made me believe that they maybe got some tournament players to record the gameplay for them, which would show a lot of progress/consideration from the network that has, historically, been lacking.

Anyone else notice that when Faust gave Leo the afro with his command grab it lasted 2 seconds but when he picked it up as an item it lasted forever. I wonder what causes the afro to disappear because it doesn't seam to be a time thing.

You should buy GGXXAC+R as well, it has fantastic Rollback and the gameplay is fire. It's on PC and Switch

@@jerrodartis5733 It increases the fighter's hurtbox. It basically makes them a bigger target.
@@jerrodartis5733 also you can use moves like bomb or "love" to light it on fire, which causes a delayed explosion.
