How to Make Kinetic Warp Text Animation in After Effects

Here's a simple trick I saw a while ago with text warping and I made up a tutorial where I explain to you how to create this text animation effect with warping letters. It distort the letters quite a bit, you step out of the typography rules but this effect is quite funky and fun to watch and animate.

A lot could also be done by having the asset in vector format and either dealing with the shapes properties or the paths. Cool tips.
