you need to cop a steam deck brother. just fell on your channel and youre expressing everything i been thinking . ive been enjoying indie games that are actually about gameplay PLUS my backlog of old games from snes to ps3 era as they all run well on the deck.
Haha, so good. It definitely brought me back into it. Indie games and rogue likes on the steam deck, then to the computer when I want to sit down and play some baldurs gate.

I felt this same way until I started playing RDR2 RP. I feel like RP servers are what MMOs should have become. Instead of progression based on getting money from the player.
Yes!! I've often been super disappointed with mmos since when I was a kid I had so many thoughts and imagined how different it would be by now. I didn't plan on it going backwards.
the whole part about companies being money focused and not making a full game experience is why i stopped buying ubisoft/EA games. most games have lots of money in marketing so people buy them but it never gets talked about a month later yet it sells well because it has good marketing (outriders, atomic heart, back for blood ect). Ive not been hyped for a big good release in years. My twitter timeline is full with indie devs trying to promote their game, just 1 person or a small group of people making a game because they enjoy it and you can see the passion in the games itself which i haven't seen in a triple A game for the longest time (exception being Baldur's Gate 3) indie games are just happiness but i do wish i could be young again and enjoy a good £50 game worth the money.
Mate, reading this felt exactly like something I would write haha. I had to take a step back and put effort into finding smaller niche games and I've finally been looking forward to gaming again.
Honestly I’ve been watching some of your videos and I was wondering since you’ve played dark cloud 2 I was wondering if you had played Rogue Galaxy..? I’d love to see a review from you on it.
Right on. Can't stand all this pay more crap for games they are already selling for a lot of money. Have you ever played Radiata Stories (PS2). may be interesting to see you review it.
Im not gonna lie As a fighting game player my tolerance for bullshit is absolutely obscene, after years of having to rebuy the same whole game every 2 to 3 years, ill accept a lot of things as long as they arent pay to win
I respect that for sure. I feel like fighting games do get better though and you know what you're getting when you buy it. With most these other games they are actually going backwards. Like actively taking out features in favor of bloat.
@@WoddahMaloneGaming yeah, I love this genre because thanks to it being so niche, the devs care more about the game itself even if the dlc practices can be whack as fuck sometimes. Fighting games, imsims, and crpgs are the genres i still trust
@@V2ULTRAKill ya I been grinding smash ultimate (not real fgc I know) and now sf6. Baldurs gate 3 and divinity original sin 2 and personally anything final fantasy just cuase I'm a fanboy. Everything else has been rogulikes since it's super low investment and usually low cost too.
@@WoddahMaloneGaming nice nice, you should consider giving Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising a shot, it did a lot for GBVS in the same way SF6 did for sf, and has a great cast of characters

Thanks, WoddahMalone, for your take on D4. Agree---massive fail. Both Farmer Blizz and Farmer Bethesda milk the gamer to the MAX. Disgusted with their "Vision" and f'n bs "Chats". Both farmers can ESAD (eat shit and die.) Today, games aren't like Champions of Norath--complete.
Are you quitting gaming or just modern gaming? At least in my case, there are hundreds of games I have but haven’t played from the 90s to present day. My interested in new games started waning in 2015 and has sunk to the point that I assume any new game is woke trash and it has to prove otherwise. My plan is to play them in retirement since I currently
I should have clarified that point but yes, modern gaming is where I've just drawn the line. Similar to you, im just going to assume it's terrible until proven otherwise. So many classics I either have never played or I just never beat so I think going back and playing those is what will fuel my gaming for the time being.

Haha, thanks so much. Although, there are tons of spiders and giant animals... Other than that, she's great mate!
Really enjoyed this conversation.
Thanks mate, I'll try and have one going once a week.

SUPERGIANT!!
They made Hades and their whole catalog is incredible.
I'm so dumb, as soon as I switched of stream I remembered. I need to check out some of their other games.

I'd love to hear what you think of Pyre because it's kind of a Basketball game?!? I don't know how else to explain it actually.

I've gotten a ton of feedback to play that game so I'll probably give it a try at some point.

D4 skins for 25€, 60€ Horses and freaking battle pass in a Buy to play game is all whats wrong with modern day gaming.
And it's only getting worse.
Go play Baldur’s Gate 3. Larian specifically pointed all of this out when releasing it.
I approve of this message.
This is one I have really enjoyed playing. Been looking forward to it for awhile too!

Very aggressive but very true. I'll never look forward to another triple A title again from these companies until they sway me with their delivery.

Diablo 4 is a trash game. 3 is better.
And 2 is even better!
I was so disappointed in 4.
