Various other VHS distributors did this as well throughout the 1980's and 1990's.

I think the Paper Source insect is a Tarantula Hawk, a wasp native to Arizona USA that has the 2nd most painful sting of any insect. They're very striking, all-black with red wings and a good 3-5 inches long.
