Yes it is somewhat like Six Flags, though it is built around the single theme of an 1880's community. It is a major theme park that certainly rivals Six Flags. You could easily spend an entire day on just small child activities, roller coaster & thrill rides, the shows, or the craft shops. There are a lot of things to do there for all ages and interests. However, it is not a good park for those with a walking disability. It was built in the hills of the Ozarks. There are only a few really flat areas where walking is easy for those with handicaps.
Society today: tattoos, obesity (both men and women, shredded Jean shorts, baseball caps worn everywhere, tights to give the illusion of thinness, screaming as the normal speaking level among other things. Let's see if they're "progressuve" enough to go for new behaviors or stay with it like the F word.
Thanks for posting. I've never been to SDC. I always thought it was a place you went to hear musical acts. It looks more like Six Flags.

The natural surroundings (Trees) really makes this place look great
