Drawing simple things like faces can be one of the most valuable skills as an artist. It's one of the things I find myself doing the most when drawing comics. Faces from all sorts of angles with all sorts of expressions.
Tim I wanted to thank you for this wonderful video and all the other ones you have been making. I'm already a professional, but it's excellent company on those long comic book nights. This art book blows me away
Finished that game in my teenage years, so it brings some good old nostalgia. When it comes to drawing for me its nice to break the ice or at least win with the white sheet is to start with something that is in your comfort zone. After that i am in the good drawing mood so i can raise the bar gradually afterwards.
This was a lot of fun Tim! I love your more informative videos too, but I reallly enjoyed seeing you mess around! It's the perfect video to draw along to :)
Great video, Tim. Yeah, personally I like this format a lot. I've yet to really reach the draughtsmanship levels I'd like, so a lot of your other videos on painting and colour etc I watch but mentally check out as it's a subject for people a bit further along than I. Still, I watch it all regardless, because you're interesting and inspiring, and it's nice to immerse myself in my hobby!
god i only really clicked when i saw BoF4 art in the thumbnail. And boy i can relate so much to what you talk about Tim. I own the complete edition artbook of Breath of fire.... but yeah here i see so much art i missed out on. thank you for this flipthrough. BUT on the let´s sketch section... I dunno I still feel lost often following your vids. I somewhat miss the creative spark. the idea of what to draw or even just the spontaneous way of seeing what goes on the paper. I just wish i would have something click in that regard so i can really get the best out of your awesome work. But you know what. I´ll make the jump and see how far your course will take me. From all I can see especially compared to the free content you have on yourtube already this is absolutely worth the coin.
Hi Tim , I can see you have 2 courses for sale and im not sure which one to take, i want to master and practice traditional drawing first get comftable with pencile and papper before moving digital do you teace anothomy poses ect in any of the courses ?
Unfortunately not. It's something I plan to add (and new parts of the course have subtitles). But as of right now the majority of the videos have no english subtitles sorry.

You should get the “Sea of Stars” art book. It’s very similar to the breath of fire book. The art is so good and it’s in the same spirit.
This helped me a lot to get into the mood to draw. I don't know how everyone else feels but I would love more of this kind of content.
Amazingly fluid illustration sketch, loved it
your channel and content are hidden gems. I often put one of your videos in the background while i'm drawing. Hope you can keep up the good work.
