I spent six months there on a small boat moored up on the free stay part,
I was only 15/16 and I was kind of abandoned by my father who was supposed to be looking after me as I was supposed to be having a holiday for two months, anyway I found the people and the village of stevensweert, well the nicest kindest people I have ever had the good fortune to encounter, I'd love to see out my final year's living in stevensweert,

I lived in Stevensweert for almost 2 years,, first on the porta isola then at the other intbroek,, my m8 married a girl from there..And is still living in the village..
I've only been back once but hope to go back again very soon,,,
