I've used Zno in the past. Upon receiving the book, I loved it. I got a lay-flat book and used pics that were taken with my phone. I loved the fact that I started out using their templates but was able to manipulate them by adding or subtracting different aspects of each page including the cover therefore, basically making the book my own creation. My disappointment came a couple years later when the lay-flat pages began coming apart. The best way I can describe the pages are that the thickness of each are basically 2 pieces of a thin cardboard that are glued together. However they do it, each page came apart and I had to go through the book and glue them all back together. Not cool!

Blurb is a good company, but their lay flat books did not work out for me. As I said in the review, I don't like the paper they chose. Lots of TOP 5 videos to come
I am thinking of printing my wedding album and I am torn between saal photobook or flipchap flush mount album due to price difference. Is it worth paying extra for saal photobook and it is not even a flush mount album. many thanks
Yes, the quality is far better, but as I said I picked books that excels in one aspect. Bob Books, CEWE and Saal are very similar, but Saal offers the most, so I picked them.

I just submitted, from Canada,my photobook to Motif for printing they refused to respect the promo code saying it was obsolete, I referred the customer service to their Canadian web site where you offer a 40% promo code , they still don’t want to respect the price reduction, wouldn’t you call this false advertisement what you are doing and saying re promo code, their are laws to protect the customers you know
what would be the best online photo book/company to make a boudoir book for if in Australia ?. I'd like layflat pages, good quality images printed and maybe for it to come in a box as a nice gift. Now I've watched the vid I think I have an aneurysm hahaha. I like the look of Flipchap and comes with gifts and box but pages look very thick. Then I also like ZNO. So as mentioned above, which company out of what you've shown would do the best layflat for boudoir ?.
Saal is less thick pages, but they don't ship to Australia, unless you have a friend in Europe. FlipChap has the option for thinner pages but it's not silver halide

They were $10 at the time. Sometimes they are free, sometimes they go off sale. You need to keep an eye on it, they are included in the promotion quite often.

I just received a 12 x 12 lay flat book from Collage.com and I am extremely satisfied with it. You should take a look at them in future reviews.
Does the glossy paper leave fingerprints on it? Which better... matte or glossy? Or lustre?
For fingerprints lustre. But I never had an issue with glossy either. You just shouldn't touch photos with an oily hand

Pardon me if this is a dumb question, but what is meant by the term “layflat”?
Means the pages lay flat across the page, they don't have like a page curve like a normal book. It has to do with how the pages are binded.
What about Bob Books? I believe that the quality is much higher than Mixbook, although the software is not as good as Mixbook...
