Hello Joseph, Yes you can choose bus safari if you like to exclude boat safari. You need to inform JLR safari incharge once you check in they will accommodate the same.
Kabini is ideal to visit during water level is down. I would not recommend mansoon season for travel if you are looking for animal sighting. But mansoon are the best time for greenery and weather… Best time for animal sighting is summer and post mansoon.. I hope it helps.
Agree with your comment on pricing it could be because they offer two safari and water safari is the unique one which no other JLR offers as per my knowledge. However I was disappointed for maintenance and cottage pricing was slightly higher compare to other JLR.. I guess we both agree to that 😂

Simple stay is tent house, tent house are typically not that tent house what we think. It’s big as house with all amenities. Irrespective of cottage, boat and jeep safari are available in all stay type. The cheapest available cottages are tent house and if you book in advance you will get it in less than 20k.
It’s Kabini river lodge owned by jungle lodges. I took Jeep safari afternoon and boat safari in the morning.. kabini river lodge covers Nagarahole forest. Hope this helps you.
