“Hector!!! Hector!!!!”
Troy is such a guilty pleasure of a film. One of the best fight scenes ever between him and Pitt.
Totally agree, Eric as Hector was the perfect casting and him with Brad Pitt dueling was one the best chorography fight scene in movie history =) Eric has played in bunch of good movies like Troy and time travellers wife on top of hulk and other movies that he is 90's early 2000's star. Damn that white hair wishes I would age that gracefully, best of luck "Hector" =)
Bana was excellent in that film. Troy missed the mark on many fronts, from miscast actors to horribly written dialogue. Diane Kruger was a bad choice to play Helen, though Rose Byrne as the Priestess was perfect. Orlando Bloom was just insipidly annoying and a terrible choice to play Paris. If I were Hector, I would have handed Paris to the Greeks as a sacrifice. So many other great actors and great scenes in a not-so-great film. It's a mixed bag, that one.
@@PhantomFilmAustraliayou are so wrong The film was great.... Action..drama...Love ...I loved my son from the moment he opened his eyes till the moment you closed them... Great lines ..great actors.. you're just wrong
@@PhantomFilmAustralia couldn't agree more. this movie had a chance to be an all time great film. amazing action scenes though.
Why is it a guilty pleasure, its simply a great movie
Eric Bana is an incredible actor and right about Australia. Great place and fantastic people. Time well spent.
He was wonderful as Chopper. Played Mark to a tee. "You've upset your mum." Aussie movies are great!
Neville bloody Bartos! 😂
Look who’s leavin Boss!!!!!!
Perish the thought!!!
The role he played in Star Trek was one his best performances ever (of so many great performances). It was so good that when I saw it in the theater I went home to Google the actor, which is the only reason I know it was Bana. so good.
Eric Bana was fantastic in this interview. The way he talked about all the American St Kilda's was brilliant! 👏🏻
I’d say St Kilda are much closer to the Cleveland Browns
I would suggest that the Browns are more like the Fremantle Dockers.
Eric is such a sincere professional actor. And yet no 'ego' . How is that possible. Paul Hogan and Mel Gibson are in that same Australian 🇦🇺 Legends meeting the world, head on, brilliant 💎 talents.
Great in Troy great in Star Trek great in anything down to earth too
Eric Bana is a great actor and always a joy to watch in his films.
Great actor. "Black Hawk Down", "Munich", "The Time Traveler's Wife". "Troy", "The Dry" (so good, deserves a wider audience)
It was so nice to see an actor who is not full of himself, sort of guy you could meet at a bar and have a beer
Aussie legend. Chopper
Great actor, terrific guy. I enjoyed both The Dry movies, can't wait for the next installment.
"I’m so impressed with your fighting quality Mr Kerrigan. And can I just say how disenchanted I am with our legal system."
"Ah twister, we watched twister"
My favorite Eric Bana movie is "The Time Traveler's Wife." I watch it every Christmas season and always cry to think how great it could be to go back for a moment and meet your family. But I watch anything with Eric Bana in it.
That was so good, but so sad, too. He was great in it.
Rich would love The Castle.
Tell'm he's dreamin'!
Kick Boxing 24-hours-a-day.
"...and it was an absolute credit to the airline."
Would he get the humor?
It's a vibe thing
I spotted Eric from my car recently outside a cafe as he lives about a suburb away from me just enjoying his morning coffee while reading the paper, his a just a normal bloke
The Dry was excellent. Highly recommended. He was a producer I’m the film.
That's Poida
And sometimes Ray.
A fellow man (or woman) of culture, I see.
Hoi my name's poida! I hang out eating donuts at the carpark of a 7/11
I was looking for this comment haha. Channel 31s biggest star
Closed Circuit and The Time Travelers Wife are very underrated films. He's very good in both. A very good actor.
Eric Bana! Is so cool! Had no idea he's from Croatia.
Loved he and Ricky Gervais in Funny People! Hilarious!
Funny People Had Eric Bana, though I don't remember Ricky Gervais in that film. They Both starred in the movie "Special Correspondents."
I always laugh with my brother about how long he chews the rice for at the end of Black Hawk Down. Such a great movie. But go and watch the scene when he's talking to Josh Hartnett at the end and eating rice.
If Bana is in it, I'm watching it. "Hanna" (2011) is amazing too.
Don't know what this guy did to piss off Casting directors. He's been good in everything I've seen🤷
Eric should of interviewed Rich as Poida
Love Eric in Full Frontal - so funny!
That happens in Gaelic football if there'sa draw in the 'superbowl'. It's a moneymaker. Meath played Dublin like six weeks in a row one year!
Check out chopper true story i think its similar to bronson
Saints should have won that grand final too
Absolutely
Bana’s great always have enjoyed his movies!
I love how he talks up Australia!!
A lot of Aussies seem to go O.S and forget where they came from and I can’t stand it 🇦🇺👍
The Dry was so good. Can't wait. Bana has done so many great films. First heard about him from an Australian film Chopper. ✌️❤️🙏
Pity that “Chopper” doesn’t get the accolades it deserves - truly astounding performance of the real life Chopper Read
Eric Banna impossible not to love an Australian treasure and the Saints is the best AFL team.
The best Bruce Banner among the three.
As someone who supports the Sydney Swans, I can honestly say we have been part of the GF when we have lost by a nail, and one where we got blown out of the water. Neither is good. 😢 But thankfully we have also won close ones too. 😍 They changed the rule since that St Kilda draw and you go into extra time if there is a draw in the GF now.
His command of accents is impressive
lol that was such a fun interview towards the end. diving into being a long suffering fan of a team that never wins.
For those who haven't seen Chopper, do yourselves a favour! Probably still his greatest performance, and it's a true story
Loved his movie about his own race car ...
About his XW 3R2, lowered, mags?
@@JennaPitcherTHX1138 called love the beast.
Movies had sucked for quite awhile. Then Black Hawk Down came out. I literally sat on the edge of my seat once the action started until the end.
His dad must go for Hawks?? Champion
I am proud to say I have kicked a goal in AFL, scored a try in both rugby codes and Soccer.
Eric was great in Funny People
"What's your name?"
"Poida."
Maaaark “Chopper” Read in the building!!!!!!!😂😂😂😂❤
no troy questions??!!! wow
Today days old when I found out Eric Bana was Australian 🤯
can it get any more Aussie than Eric banner, AFL, Aussie muscle cars, in the most Australian movie that exists.."The castle"..and the only guy who could play the most Aussie character of all...chopper.
I've always read war books, read "Black Hawk Down" when it came out, thought it was great. I was convinced there was no way a movie could do it justice. Boy was I wrong; I think the movie is better than the book, thanks in large part to Bana's performance.
😂 “It was my understanding that there would be no math.”
Please do make the effort to visit Australia. Well worth it
GOATric Bana
Munich is underrated AF.
There is no way the saints were winning that drawn game. the energy swung again in the last 30 seconds.
I watched Force of Nature, The Dry 2 last night via ... an online source. It was excellent. Highly recommend it. And it has Anna Torv in it as well. 4 Stars.
The makers of the movie profited from you watching, of course.
Munich is fantastic even though it takes a lot of liberty with the actual events
This is my safety, sir.
wow he is a handsome man. my fav role of his is Nero is Star Trek. So good.
Should have talked about Troy and Chopper, two other great films
Eric actually started his career as a TV comedian in Australia. 1972
Quite an actor, and bit of a storyteller
Fight until the death. There is no falling on your sword.
Munich happened in 1972 Eric, not 1977
Well this is my safety
Even Americans are astonished at a stkilda supporters pain
To Chris, I ask. Why are we fans? I am a Cal Bears fan (actually, I am a Baby Bear, which means it is in my blood, literally, as that is where my parents went to university; I am actually a Golden Gator SFSU); I have a tattoo of Cal on my arm. I was a 12-year-old kid running onto the field after the Play in '82. There are three things I want to see or know before I die. I want to know if there are UFOs, what is on the other side (after death), and if Cal will win (go) the Rose Bowl in my lifetime. Now, with all of that said. What makes someone want to have their ashes tossed on Tightwade Hill after they die so they can watch Cal football for the rest of time? Their history. All of the wins and the losses. I love Cal because they "haven't." Now, if asked, I would say a game of almost is always going to be better than a game of not even close; it just sounds horrible. I ask if you were happy watching the Patriots get blown out anytime they got to the Super Bowl. Do you want the feeling that you were not ready versus not good enough? Because a not-ready team loses every time, and not good enough loses by a little every time.
This is my safety!
St Kilda made three grand finals in two years and won none of them. If that doesn’t put you on top of the pain ranking I don’t know what will.
🙏🇦🇺
Maaayyyyte
About the higher chair and the distance: Proxemics is the study of this kind of stuff. Please tell Larry and Eric. Larry will complain. Eric won't.
Delta Force!!!
POIDA!! 🤣🤣
Australian rules football is a hell of a sport. Just saying.
Why do I keep seeing Corey Feldman when I look at his face?
Corey looks like grandpa Munster
@@jald3177 They were in a movie together. South Beach Academy.( 1995)
If Eric wants an English football team - follow Middlesbrough - we were the first team to go to three consecutive Wembley finals and lose all three and get relegated the same season!
WOW... i thought he was an american actor
There's a difference between Trekkies & Trekkers.
Trekkers enjoy watching Star Trek.
Trekkies enjoy being Star Trek.
the best hulk, hands down
Wait. Eric Bana is Australian? When did this happen?
Read Black Hawk Down. The movie was not accurate at all. If you read the book you’ll get an unreal interpretation of how screwed up that mission really was.
Sorry, Eric. The Saints aren't even close this season.
He would be fantastic when he learns to speak English well😂
He's Australian, he was speaking bloody English
Oh pardon … will turn on the subtitles… 😂
Stop being bloody ignorant mate.
