    I think that Suzuki is growing at a fast rate and they will be increasing the dealer network. Even though I love Toyota I dont mind driving 30min to get to a suzuki dealer once a year. The dealer network won't steer my decision but the creature comforts will most def.

    I bought a Starlet Xs automatic last year. Two little omissions in this car which I would have liked added - a boot light and doors automatically locking as one pulls off. Otherwise a nice zippy car.
    Chose Toyota over Suzuki because more service centres all over the country and I believe its resale value will be better than the Suzuki.

    • @drivenautozar
      @drivenautozar  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, Kevin! Funny enough, the previous generation Starlet had a light in the boot so I was also disappointed that they took that away.
      Your reasons for buying the Toyota make sense as well. Enjoy it - it’s a great car!

    Hi there, I think the 1st reason why there's one front seat back pocket is "cost saving" as there's decent storage in the vehicle cabin, therefore the area behind the front seats can be best utilised for passenger knee & leg room. Then also, for the most part, the driver is the main person in the vehicle and when he / she wants to put something (diary / book / documents) in a pocket, the driver can easily reach behind the passenger seat, and not behind their own seat, hence the choice to put the back pocket behind the front passenger seat.

    • @drivenautozar
      @drivenautozar  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Kwanele! Thank you for taking the time to give me such an in-depth answer. I really appreciate it! Come to think of it, it does make sense for the driver to only have to reach into the passenger seat for any object instead of behind their own seat.

      @@charletk4110 I’d say test drive them back to back. For smaller cars, like the Starlet, I’d recommend manual because the automatic versions sap the power of the car and aren’t so smooth on gear changes.

    I tested this in Cape Town. Beautiful car, quiet and powerful, with great fuel consumption. BUT it's a SUZUKI, and this 'Toyota' has a weaker service plan, higher price, and, worse of all, that huge gap on the right-hand side of the steering wheel! Toyota REMOVED the cruise control. Seriously?
