Tried part 2 on DMD as well and Christ that game is so damn easy. Died 0 times the whole playthrough. Finished yesterday. I played this game on HD when it came out and played this again last January. After seeing this video it makes me wanna attempt my first DMD playthrough on this as well. Your videos will come in handy big time.

You are correct, gold orbs do bring you back to life where you fell, but we're talking about gold MODE, not the orbs. Gold mode means you can continue freely upon dying - returning you to a checkpoint of course.

Rainstorm is pretty hard to extend to the ground, especially from very high up. You just need to hit the style button faster. If you're not using normal speed I recommend trying it. Once you can do it on normal, work your way up to turbo.

I don't know why spectacle-fighters don't seem to gel with me well, but really want to be able to enjoy the DMC games as I'm a huge fan of the lore and characters, especially teenage Dante in DMC3.

Switch Canceling with guns, that's the only trick I learned from myself, cuz... Spiral is very slow, so I tried something else, didn't know it will work, but SC with swords? Cool!

Not sure if it's still possible but can you please make a video combo tutorial (like which weapons are compatible with which and button inputs etc)? Currently the only weapons I have are Rebellion and Cerberus and I've tried style switching and it looks/feels very clunky =// Thanks so much for looking into this post!
Would you consider doing a barebones basic combat tutorial? This game shouldn't be a bare knuckle fist fight in the streets to get a basic million stab move to actually work.

but this only works for the 60GB version. because i've never seen a add on PSN wich lets you be able to play ps2 games. any later version wont be able to play it. correct me if i'm wrong.
@lucasdbz93 Gunslinger stuff in turbo is gunna hurt ... nothing I've found has helped with that. A good gradient to get to turbo speed would be doing the slower JC's first: flickers, sky dance, etc. If you really just can't press the buttons fast enough don't sweat it, turbo's not for everyone.
i want to ask you something: i have been playing the game for a descent amount of time, i can jump cancel most of the moves, but in normal speed not in turbo. what do you recommend me: turbo or normal speed? gunslinger is really fingerbreaking!!!!!!!i almost lost my thumb because of it!!!!
It is playable, but certain parts are a little weird... Like if I remember right mission 18 is buggy or something.. They could have fixed that by now, I don't know.. but it certainly is playable.

Did you mean Agni&Rudra's Million Slashes? ∆, delay, ∆, delay, ∆∆∆∆∆∆∆ (rapidly). Any crazy combo are easier to pulled off and last longer if your Style Meter is higher.
+JacomeFelg Oh you actually can do it without hitting the enemy, though. You can even do it when there's no enemy around, but since by that you're probably at below Dope! level of Style, you may need to hurt your thumb a little in the process ;)

Yellow means you can only continue whenever you have yellow orbs
Gold means you can continue regardless of any orbs.

Thats too true... One of the reasons I quit playing gunz was the fact that you had to learn the styles or be kicked.

If you're asking about point blank that's a stinger with a style input. (R1 + forward + circle)

In that example there's no special input. When you start a stinger on an enemy and go under it, your million stab will do what is shown.

I started DMC3, nur I‘m really bad St. fighting... I already stopped at her second Boss, the ice hound... I reales wanna give it a chance, any tips?
Wild stomp cancel with rainstorm is better
Also I use royal guard to cancel basic ground attacks too
Press the "style" button in the air while on the gunslinger style. (By default this button is circle)

Even though you cant style switch on the fly, I still prefer this to Dmc4
Well it's the easiest game in the franchise, except for the 3rd grader's game Devil may Crap Devil May Cry but yeah some fights are scary

They're not bugs. Cancelling animations is intentional.
