It's not hard to do Robbie "justice" when he's such a lame cliched paint by numbers reboot character and easily the weakest iteration of Ghost Rider or do we just ignore the laziness that permeates every part of his character from conception to design because modern audiences are so easily impressed due to willful ignorance about the history of literally anything?

MrOdd was probably losing it at this epic animation of one of his fave characters. Also I think with Ghost Rider's hell pit ability I think they'd synergise well with Magik
I thought penance stare was what Ghost Rider is known for. Making people feel all the pain they have inflicted on others. Not setting people on fire. Unless I'm missing some thing? Still loved this short though. If you made a Midnight Sun series I would watch it. The three shorts so far seem to be on track with Amazing Spiderman.
I swear, how great this animation style is (including the fire and smoke effects, *very* artsy. Love it when said effects take on such a look), and the very vibe it gives me just makes me think that this is, like, how *Spider-Man: The New Animated Series* would look like in the modern age of today's world, if it were to return.
See it from his POV...he's got a raging monster inside him that he'd just as soon not have. He can channel it but the possibility of losing control is always there. So yeah, he's freaking scared. Hard to feel heroic when you've got all that in your head.
I'd love to see an All New Ghost Rider Vol 1 and 2 as an animated show based on the original comic. TV-MA to keep everything in. The big fights with the cartel gangs that had supe pills. LETS GOOOO

I don't want to lower your hopes but I think these prequels are for the 4 midnight suns team members that are already in the abbey (Magik, GhostRider, Nico & Blade), besides the one for Litlith & Caretaker one. And I believe Spidey is recruited sometime along the main storyline

Because those 4 are already at the Abbey when Dr Strange, Captain Marvel and Iron man show up there which we get to play with during the prologue. Spidey as you say we recruit during the main story when we run into Venom. Because that Venom boss fight they showed off to us in the Summer Game Fest is where we recruit him I think.
