If lose to a Vanderbilt team that has NEVER EVER beaten a top 25 team. And you lose to them as a TOP 5 team then go to Oklahoma who was 5-5 (1-5) in the conference at the time and NOT score a single touchdown. You don’t deserve the playoffs.
I can point out something terrible about all the teams that are lobbying for that last spot. Like how South Carolina only scored 3 points against ole miss. And how they lost head to head to bama.
It's easy to look at the negative. That EXACT same team you are talking about also beat #21 Missouri, #7 Georgia, #15 South Carolina, plus Wisconsin & LSU on the road. South Carolina and Ole Miss have NO power 5 wins out of conference and South Carolina lost to Alabama H2H on the field. It's not rocket science to see past Alabama's losses. There are 12 teams, not 4, the bar to make the playoffs is much lower than it used to be. So, yes Alabama would deserve it with their SOS and quality wins. Losses come with the territory.
Here is my problem. Bama got boat-raced by Oklahoma the week before their finale. How in the world are they back in the playoff picture? If my Gamecocks had two losses and then lost on the road 24-3 at Oklahoma, they would not have been considered for a playoff spot. If you want to put Ole Miss in ahead of SC and Bama, I'm fine with it. At least the Rebels lost in a competitive game to Florida. Bama's game was not even close. The Bama bias ticks me off more than South Carolina being the odd team out. Go Gamecocks!
I understand the frustration with that. The problem with Ole Miss vs Bama is that Ole Miss has by far the worst loss losing to UK who has a losing record.
Nope Georgia brings that sloppy shit they do to Atlanta, Texas about to drag Georgia's overated ass ,sark is to good and has a team of athletes that is going to give Georgia their 3rd loss ,I'm betting Texas to cover and i hate them mfks ,but reality sets in for Georgia

If the committee could find a way to screw Indiana that would make everyone happy but can they. That 66-0 didn’t help
If Clemson beats SMU then SMU should most definitely still be in If you leave out SMU after going 10-2 and losing a Power 5 conference game and you put in a 10-2 Miami with no conference championship appearance or a 9-3 Alabama with no conference championship appearance then why even show up to the conference championship game? SMU should decline to stay at 11-1 then
I could see a argument for Ohio state being above both Tennessee and Indiana. The wins against Indiana and Penn State help. But the 8-10 range i definitely agree Lou.
Don’t understand how you justify Indiana or Tennessee over Ohio state at all. Ohio State Destroyed Indiana. Ohio State has a much better resume than Tennessee. Tennessee has no wins over current top 10 opponents. Ohio State has 2. Tennessee has a bad loss to Arkansas as well. Notre Dame over Texas doesn’t make sense. No way that Texas gets punished for playing in their conference championship game when ND lost to NIU
Last year the playoff committee completely left a team out that had a zero in the loss column. The members of the committee are almost all the same as last year. I think Ohio State stays ahead of Indiana, just as they had before playing Indiana, and they stay ahead of Tennessee (the wins for OSU are better, and the losses are not as bad as Tennessee's) and I think if Penn State loses to Oregon by more than 7 points they will also drop below Ohio State. Expect Ohio State to be the 7 or 8 seed and host a game.
If Penn State loses, both Ohio State and PSU have Oregon as a loss then head to head in happy valley should give OSU a higher seed than PSU. I see OSU being ranked 7, maybe 6 depending on where Tennessee is. Ohio State offers a bigger fan base and following than Penn State.
As they should be. They played 3 teams in the playoffs, 2 on the road and went 2-1 in a close win a blowout win and an extremely close loss. Tennessee's resume doesn't hold up to that
Six (6) new CFP committee members were installed the total number of members being 13. That is almost *HALF the entire CFP Committee* so that is not "almost all the same as last year" as you WRONGLY stated. I stopped reading after that.
Didn't think it was possible for Michigan fans to be out done being the most obnoxious fans in the country. Oregon fans are delusional they've already crowned their team National Champion. No way they're going to win it.
My take as a Buckeye fan….. SC needs to be in the top 12 OSU won’t be #10 because of the money they bring to the playoffs. OSU will win 3 games and be in the finals. OSU will lose because of the Ryan Day butt pucker factor in big games!
Alabama beat Georgia, South Carolina and Missouri all in Current CFP Top 25. Miami doesn't have 1 Team they have beaten in Top 25. That should mean something..
@@greenwithenvee2337having 2 losses instead of 3 isn’t a reason to make the playoffs either. And not all schedules are made the same. If they were then we wouldn’t need rankings. Miami = no ranked wins.
Lou, I think Texas is more likely to stay as the 5 than Penn St in the event they both lose. Texas is currently ranked higher, so I don’t think they’d drop below PSU if they both lose. Ultimately I think ND may have the 5 if PSU and Texas lose but I guess we’ll find out
My opinion on the lsu game, even if you want to say well they shouldn’t have been in position to lose due to a bad call” is that the didn’t have Sellars as their qb during the second half, and he obviously wasn’t healthy during the ole miss and bama games. That being said, injuries happen to everyone, but shouldn’t that factor also be considered?
Assuming your Championship game predictions are accurate 5-12 will be ND, Texas, Penn State, Tenn, Ohio State, Indiana, Mia/Bama, UNLV. Penn State has zero chance at the 5 if they lose the Big 10 Championship. They will fall below both ND and Texas. Ohio State will also be ranked above Indiana. Indiana played no one and was destroyed by Ohio State. I also have no idea if the Committee takes Miami or a 3 loss SEC team.
@@alincoln8377 probably the most accurate CFP rankings I’ve seen so far. ND will be 5 or 6 depending on what Penn St does this weekend. I don’t think Miami will get in and Bama damn sure shouldn’t be in, but they probably will be?
Coming from a Notre Dame fan, conference championship games should not drop you, I think Texas and Penn State should still both be above ND even if they lose. I have the same conference winners as you with the exception of I think Boise wins at home (and get the 4 seed over ASU.) Assuming that my 12 looks like this: 1. Oregon 2. UGA 3. SMU 4. Boise 5. Texas 6. Penn State 7. Notre Dame 8. Tennessee 9. Ohio State 10. Indiana 11. Arizona State 12. Alabama I still think you should have Ohio State at least one spot over Indiana, they have the extra loss but played a much tougher conference schedule, and we just watched Ohio State obliterate Indiana two weeks ago (in this scenario they would both have to play on the road anyway.) Also I would take Alabama (reluctantly) over Miami only because Miami has spent 3/4 of the season barely skating by bad ACC teams. With the exception of the FSU game they haven't put away anybody they played since their conference schedule started, at least we have a proof of concept of Alabama and what they can do when Milroe has a good night. You can flip them or ASU at 11/12, I debated either way but decided to reward ASU with a spot above them for winning the conference.
Ok, what if Georgia loses to Texas and then they have 3 losses? You still gonna put them above ND? A 3 loss team has no business in the CFP, in my opinion. In a ND fan too
Most of these silly conference championship games are a waste of time. The SEC game is a rematch. Then, if you don't even punish a 3 loss Georgia by dropping them out of the playoff, they could theoretically play each other THREE TIMES. Absurdities.
As a Miami fan I want things to stay where they are. I want to be in the Gator Bowl on January 2nd in a stand alone prime time game…the biggest bowl outside of the playoffs. If Miami’s players show up and play…winning that game over an LSU would cap a great season for Miami…and put Miami in the Top 10-11 if the final AP rankings and almost a certain Preseason Top 10 spot in 2025. If you’re a Miami fan and you claim you wouldn’t have signed up for that in August…you’re lying. Stop letting FSU and Florida fans convince you Miami’s had a terrible season because they lost 2 games by a total of 8 points. They couldn’t finish the season with less than 8 losses…don’t take the bait. Great year for Miami no matter what happens…11-2 or 10-3…great season…time to build and continue to improve year by year.
Not a Miami fan but they have only two losses and losing to Syracuse is still a better loss than a loss at home to Kentucky or a loss to Vandy and a beat down to Oklahoma
If GA loses to Texas then the wins against TN and TX during the regular season didn’t matter as both those teams will be ranked higher than GA. Interesting 🤨
Whether the committee puts TN ahead or behind Indiana may come down to whether Texas is the loser and has a home game or if Georgia is the Loser and is possibly an away game in the playoffs
I think Bama gets in no matter who wins the ACC and deservingly so to me. SOS should be king…that said now you have to convince me SOS shouldn’t matter when comparing Indiana and Miami. ACC/BIG XII teams need to schedule 2 huge non-con games moving forward or you have to go 1 loss or less or you’ll be that team that beats the piss out of a team with half their players sitting out of the Gator Bowl. BTW that Gator Bowl winning team is probably gonna finish ranked ahead of 2-3 playoff teams…make sense of it & cry about it if you want.
1. Oregon 2. Georgia 3. Boise state 4. Clemson 5. Texas 6. ND 7. Ohio state 8. Penn state 9. Tennessee 10. Indiana 11. Alabama 12. Arizona state First four out: Ole Miss, South Carolina, SMU, Miami First round matchups: Texas vs. ASU, ND vs. Alabama, Ohio state vs. Indiana, Penn state vs. Tennessee
once again Wou doesnt know his ball 1) texas (thumps UGA in SEC championship) 2) Boise (ashton gentrification goes off in the championship) 3) Penn State (franklin does it) 4) SMU (they are holier than clempus) 5) kent state 6) Oregon 7) Tennessee 8)Indiana 9) Notre Dame 10) Alabama 11) UAB 12) Auburn (They couldn't pick just one team from Alabama)
I think Texas would be ahead of Penn State. Only reason i think that is because they are ahead of them right now and i dont see how Penn State would jump them considering a loss to Georgia is almost equal as a loss to Oregon. That is if Texas loses Georgia and PSU losses to Oregon.
As a Bama fan, I dont think Bama should even be considered to make the playoffs!! I hold my team to a high standard and they have been so undisciplined and terrible this season!! If the committee could find a way to screw Indiana that would make everyone happy but can they. That 66-0 didn’t help
If PENN ST LOSES TO OREGON they will drop in the rankings, and Notre Dame will get that #5 seed.
Colorado fans already bitching about their bowl game? 😂 FSU Cousin CONFIRMED????
Ask Sheduer what time is it 🤣
Great stuff lou!
Ole Miss is a couple plays away from having 0 losses. South Carolina too especially the LSU game. Bama just looked horrible in some games
This has been a great year for football
If Boise State beats UNLV, and Arizona State wins the Big 12, Boise State will be ranked ahead of Arizona State, thus Boise State will be the 4 seed.
If Clemson beats SMU then SMU should most definitely still be in
If you leave out SMU after going 10-2 and losing a Power 5 conference game and you put in a 10-2 Miami with no conference championship appearance or a 9-3 Alabama with no conference championship appearance then why even show up to the conference championship game?
SMU should decline to stay at 11-1 then
They would be 11-2 and one of those losses came when they were playing a different QB very early in the season
I agree that is they lose SMU should definitely get in.
They'd be 11-2 and should be in the playoff.
Good stuff Lou!
I could see a argument for Ohio state being above both Tennessee and Indiana. The wins against Indiana and Penn State help. But the 8-10 range i definitely agree Lou.
Me personally though i wouldn’t be surprised if we behind Tennessee
Don’t understand how you justify Indiana or Tennessee over Ohio state at all.
Ohio State Destroyed Indiana.
Ohio State has a much better resume than Tennessee.
Tennessee has no wins over current top 10 opponents. Ohio State has 2.
Tennessee has a bad loss to Arkansas as well.
Notre Dame over Texas doesn’t make sense. No way that Texas gets punished for playing in their conference championship game when ND lost to NIU
unlv tanked 19 and boise state ranked 10,, Boise state won 29-24
OSU's helmet needs turned over until OSU beats *ichigan
Just type the M dude they own you
Alabama shouldn’t get in
Last year the playoff committee completely left a team out that had a zero in the loss column.
Tennessee didnt lose at home to a team w six losses.
Didn't think it was
possible for Michigan fans to be out done being the most obnoxious fans in the country. Oregon fans are delusional they've already crowned their team National Champion. No way they're going to win it.
My take as a Buckeye fan…..
SC needs to be in the top 12
OSU won’t be #10 because of the money they bring to the playoffs. OSU will win 3 games and be in the finals.
OSU will lose because of the Ryan Day butt pucker factor in big games!
Ohio be 9 seed at wrost n sor means more over Indiana n Tennessee n if Georgia lose there 10 seed for sure with 3 losses it wild too see tho
looking forward to playing georgia again on saturday🤘
My conference champs
Boise St
Tulane
Clemson
Georgia
Oregon
AZ St
You've got 1 extra team listed. DOH!
Alabama beat Georgia, South Carolina and Missouri all in Current CFP Top 25. Miami doesn't have 1 Team they have beaten in Top 25. That should mean something..
3 losses means something
@1sh1kll91 so does a weak schedule
@@davidcole2337exactly. Ask Indiana.
@@davidcole2337having a strong schedule and losing isn’t a reason to get into the playoffs.
@@greenwithenvee2337having 2 losses instead of 3 isn’t a reason to make the playoffs either. And not all schedules are made the same. If they were then we wouldn’t need rankings. Miami = no ranked wins.
I sure wish you would have been right about of Ohio State! Would have loved a home game!
Did Ohio state not beat Indiana?
and Penn State
I think it will end up Tenn-8 Oh St-9 Ind-10. The CFP will follow the AP/Coaches polls for the placement of these 3 teams
Indiana will be better than 10.
G5 can get 2 in
@@slibertas1996not anymore. Only ranked g5 teams are Boise State and UNLV and they're in the same conference
Lou, I think Texas is more likely to stay as the 5 than Penn St in the event they both lose. Texas is currently ranked higher, so I don’t think they’d drop below PSU if they both lose. Ultimately I think ND may have the 5 if PSU and Texas lose but I guess we’ll find out
I could see pau falling below osu
Yeah put Alabama in they got beat by O u and got boat raced
Don’t matter! Bama has proven they can beat anyone in the country! I mean anyone. Everyone has an off day. Ask Miami and OSU
@@saurabhpatel6630an off day, how about 3 off days.
Rmft, what a crazy season seems like it started yesterday. 😢
Exactly. LooPoo doesn't want to flex his teensy hillbilly brain long enough to realize a Penn St or Texas L should move ND to the coveted 5 seed.
Coming from a Notre Dame fan, conference championship games should not drop you, I think Texas and Penn State should still both be above ND even if they lose. I have the same conference winners as you with the exception of I think Boise wins at home (and get the 4 seed over ASU.) Assuming that my 12 looks like this:
1. Oregon
2. UGA
3. SMU
4. Boise
5. Texas
6. Penn State
7. Notre Dame
8. Tennessee
9. Ohio State
10. Indiana
11. Arizona State
12. Alabama
I still think you should have Ohio State at least one spot over Indiana, they have the extra loss but played a much tougher conference schedule, and we just watched Ohio State obliterate Indiana two weeks ago (in this scenario they would both have to play on the road anyway.) Also I would take Alabama (reluctantly) over Miami only because Miami has spent 3/4 of the season barely skating by bad ACC teams.
In a ND fan too
@@swedejohanson7739 UGA is below ND right now, if they lose they stay below them.
Most of these silly conference championship games are a waste of time. The SEC game is a rematch. Then, if you don't even punish a 3 loss Georgia by dropping them out of the playoff, they could theoretically play each other THREE TIMES. Absurdities.
Good thing is back in the day the 3rd best team could win the natty after that the 5th best team could I don’t think the “13th” best team could
If Clemson beats SMU, Boise would get the 4 seed if they beat UNLV
Notice LooPoo says nothing about the fact that they get in essence a home game for the SEC Championship. Doesn't matter at all, right LooPoo?
It's only between Bama and Miami. MAYBE Ole Miss. South Carolina is not in it. They lost head to head against Bama... Sorry not sorry
Who’s got the worse losses 9-3 Syracuse and 7-5 GT or 6-6 vandy and Oklahoma also Oklahoma was a blow out Miami’s losses were one possession
@@JohnSmith-wh2obMiami hasn't played a single ranked team all year. Dream on.
@@JayTidecommittee might slide in Syracuse or Louisville so don't count them out
@@DonovanJohnson-m9edon't forget duke
Alabama will get in the playoff. Committee just hoping SMU does their dirty work for them.
Not a Miami fan but they have only two losses and losing to Syracuse is still a better loss than a loss at home to Kentucky or a loss to Vandy and a beat down to Oklahoma
No 3 Loss team should get in unless tht 3rd loss came in the conference championship. IMO MIA n SMU should get in over Ole Miss n Bama.
Why would the committee have PSU jump Texas after both lose their CCGs? I think in that scenario Notre Dame gets 5, Texas 6 and PSU 7
Also Georgia could have three wins against 3of the playoff team's Texas, Tennessee, Clemson.
Give Ohio State a game in Happy Valley round #2 No Worries.
If GA loses to Texas then the wins against TN and TX during the regular season didn’t matter as both those teams will be ranked higher than GA. Interesting 🤨
12 team playoff is awesome because of the matchups, but mostly because Tennessee can actually make the playoffs.😂
Go Clemson!!🐯🏈
Bama gets an automatic bid if they were 6-6
Would Penn State not drown out of the 5 if the get beat by Oregon or blown out by them
Whether the committee puts TN ahead or behind Indiana may come down to whether Texas is the loser and has a home game or if Georgia is the Loser and is possibly an away game in the playoffs
SCAR in over Miami
Nah no three loss team
Lies
I think Bama gets in no matter who wins the ACC and deservingly so to me. SOS should be king…that said now you have to convince me SOS shouldn’t matter when comparing Indiana and Miami. ACC/BIG XII teams need to schedule 2 huge non-con games moving forward or you have to go 1 loss or less or you’ll be that team that beats the piss out of a team with half their players sitting out of the Gator Bowl. BTW that Gator Bowl winning team is probably gonna finish ranked ahead of 2-3 playoff teams…make sense of it & cry about it if you want.
1. Oregon
2. Georgia
3. Boise state
4. Clemson
5. Texas
6. ND
7. Ohio state
8. Penn state
9. Tennessee
10. Indiana
11. Alabama
12. Arizona state
First four out: Ole Miss, South Carolina, SMU, Miami
First round matchups: Texas vs. ASU, ND vs. Alabama, Ohio state vs. Indiana, Penn state vs. Tennessee
Clemson??? What the hell are you smoking? 😂
You actually think Clemson is beating SMU?
How are my Nittany Lions 🦁 going to 8, when we are winning the big ten championship game? WE ARE, enough said!!!!!
once again Wou doesnt know his ball
1) texas (thumps UGA in SEC championship)
2) Boise (ashton gentrification goes off in the championship)
3) Penn State (franklin does it)
4) SMU (they are holier than clempus)
5) kent state
6) Oregon
7) Tennessee
8)Indiana
9) Notre Dame
10) Alabama
11) UAB
12) Auburn
(They couldn't pick just one team from Alabama)
How much Meth did you shoot up before you typed that gobbledygook?
I think Texas would be ahead of Penn State. Only reason i think that is because they are ahead of them right now and i dont see how Penn State would jump them considering a loss to Georgia is almost equal as a loss to Oregon. That is if Texas loses Georgia and PSU losses to Oregon.
Don't count my Nittany Lions out, Oregon better have their A game!!!!! WE ARE
Where would it fall where Tennessee plays Indiana instead of osu, or psu.
16 teams!
5 champs, 5 SOR, 3 AP Poll, 3 Coaches Poll
I was for anything that extended the season
Who did Smu beat
Not a single ranked team.
Who did Indiana beat???🚮🚮🚮
Who did Penn St beat?
Who did Clemson beat?
Louisville and Duke
If everything stays the same after this weekend it will be Tennessee at Ohio State
If Carolina beats potential acc champ that doesn’t boost their resume? Idk why that hasn’t been taken into consideration in the video
Ahhh no! Because they got skull fucked by Ole miss, bama, and lsu
If Texas was to.beat GEORGIA. Would GEORGIA still be in the playoffs?
Yes
Yup n likely be 10 or 11 seed if they lose
@crazyunclelou ok cool
They be on bubble teams as well if Texas wins it cause of the three loses teams
Both are locks
Wow - that Penn State vs Oregon ticket is expensive- goes to show that no one cares about the B1G
If Clemson wins wouldn't that put UNLV in the top four? lol
To say Penn State or Indiana would finish above OSU in first round matchings is just plain stupid
It is always hard to beat a team twice look at bama and Georgia
Texas will win that Game Saturday
Bigger argument is Ohio State and Tennessee at 9-10
Tennessee will be higher than 10
@ 8. Ohio State 9. Tennessee and 10. Indiana would be my guess
Could be 7, 8 and 9 with Miami losing
As a Bama fan, I dont think Bama should even be considered to make the playoffs!! I hold my team to a high standard and they have been so undisciplined and terrible this season!! This Bama team is a jeckle and hide, you have no idea from week to week whether they will play great or abhorrent!! I dont want to say who should be in but I dont think Bama deserves a spot!! Honestly, as the season began Josh Pate said statistically Bama was the most talented team in the nation and for maybe 2 total games they played that way! The other games were embarrassing!!!!
We dont deserve the spot but god i hope we get it.
We suck, but can make a run if we get our asses together. RTR
So let’s compare the 3 loss sec teams and Miami
Ole miss and Alabama both beat SC h2h SC also lost to LSU
Ole miss lost to UF in the swamp and Kentucky and LSU Miami slaughtered UF in the swamp
Alabama lost to both 6-6 vandy and blown out by 6-6 Oklahoma also lost to tennesse
Miami lost 2 one possession games on the road to a 7-5 GT and 9-3 Syracuse
I think bubble ranks go based on this
Miami
Alabama
SC
Ole Miss
Miami 0 ranked wins. 2 bad losses.
Miller Moss QB USC trojans is looking for a championship caliber team? Georgia,ND,Penn state,Ohio state? And of course, the State of Florida has a few schools 🏫
Hoping Clemson wins so Bama gets let out
It does not matter who wins the ACC, between Clemson or SMU? The loser of that game will be out of the CFP. I think the committee won't bump out Bama if they are # 11 in the CFP. Both SMU & MIAMI have no ranked wins.
@@apoloestrada2908 you’re probably right, but they shouldn’t put a 3 loss Bama team in w losses to Vandy and unranked Oklahoma. I knew this would happen though. Only dropping Bama to 13th after they got smoked by Oklahoma? You could see the writing on the wall
