Great video Stanzfam! Some awesome catching in this one Nick! Love watching Charlie cook, especially when he goes simple. Great looking dish. Thanks for sharing!!!
Looks very tasty! Alot of guys troll for gag grouper over here in Tampa i havent tried it yet. Neat to see you troll for grouper down there and use skirts instead of plugs.
Nice shirt LOVE it 🇻🇮🇻🇮🇻🇮🇻🇮🇻🇮🇻🇮 as a local who follows something so small u wearing a USVI shirt evening if u don't know how amazing that was THANK You
I like Charlie- but dude, from one chef to another, please work on the knife skills. YOU’RE KILLING ME SMALLS!!! You gotta get that grip right on the tang & blade. If you ever come up to Orlando/Disney, I’d love to give you a crash course in culinary technique. It’s all outta love brother- I can see your passion!
Sometimes, but if it’s a bigger hole chum bag like this one too much chum comes out sometimes and they will drift even further back with the mass of chum pieces
@@manuelfuertes5875 longer rope would have definitely helped that day. Hoop nets have been around for decades, but he did a great job making them easily collapsible and brought them to the masses. There are days when they don’t work and a cast net is better, so always a great idea to have both. Remember you can move the chum bag up the side of the boat closer to the bow as well, to bring the bait close to you
I have had an open order for as many as I can get from my current rod manufacturer since last August, but have only been able to get one small batch in. I am waiting on a sample from a different manufacturer, if I approve it I hope to have a full order in within a few months
It was a tasty meal for sure! Haha, I’m sure you could hear them in the background but they have been a little more picky lately when it comes to food. They insisted on leftover spaghetti : /
Nick, Penn charges way too much money for the Authority reel that's made in China. I'll stick with my older Spin Fisher reels or my Daiwa Saltiga reels.
It is a pricey reel and I love the old spinfishers, but that being said I am typing on a $1000 cell phone made overseas. I am a realist (or try to be most of the time) and have accepted the fact that we aren’t set up for manufacturing here like other places in the world. I’m sure my tv, computer, and camera equipment are made over there too
@@StanzFam I hear you on electronics. Our government and business leaders sold us out years ago. With the number of subscribers, you might reach out to IRT, that manufactures spinning and fly reels in the USA. They don't crank out thousands of reels a day, and are a bit more than the Authority reel. When I built my machine shop, I went out of my way to purchase USA machine and machine tools. Paid more than I could have for foreign made equipment. It's got to start somewhere..
@@gungadinn I will look into IRT. I agree with you 100% , I would love to support more USA made products. A factory in NY makes some of my clothing, but unfortunately not always as consistent as stuff made elsewhere. Thanks for watching

Hey cap what depth are you trolling? Are you using a downrigger or inline for those baits?
We fished 50-70’ , bait inline on the rod
Was the cooking segment one take? I feel like I’m watching the food network
Surprisingly one take! One of my favorite meals to date!
Great video ! Did you get any gator tags this year ?
Thanks! I didn’t put in for gator tags this year. Not sure if we’ll get to go with a friend or not
Charlie do some cooking vids on your channel.
Where is clear bear with the ballyhoo❤😅
Hahaha, she’ll be back I’m sure 🤣🥳
Need to shake the chum blocks to catch them easier

@@StanzFam I've seen the guy that sells them use a longer rope than you had .
