Trains at Clapham Junction Inc. the retro Class 455 emu | 07/01/24

Just a few minutes of trains at a quiet Clapham Junction during a Sunday afternoon. Time to explore these 40 plus year old Class 455 electric multiple units seen here in South West Trains livery that were certainly built to last. Thank you to the friendly driver at the start who provide a tone or two. I hope you enjoy this short video.

It would have made sense to use the withdrawn Class 319 / 321 TSOs (with toilets) in the 455/7s replacing the ex Class 508 cars. The toilet equipped units would have been Class 455/6 (e.g. 5701 would have become 5601).

Nice video but the SWR class 455 train is so lucky to not get Replaced
