Man this is easily one of the best videos I have ever seen. I have been playing this game since it's release so I'm definitely a super-fan, but even then I had no idea of all the tricks and methods used to save time in this game. Amazing stuff to watch and you are a masterclass at commentary. I can't name the amount of times I have fallen asleep, woken up, finished the video, and fallen back asleep to this video. Seriously therapeutic
this was fascinating to me as a casual non-speedrunner who grew up with this game... had no idea the game was so glitchy. the amount of time and dedication put into this from this community is astounding
Okami is probably my all-time favourite game. Your commentary is of a level that I would expect at a GDQ event and you even put in the sections where donations would be called out. Wonderful run and instant-sub.
I cannot explain why, but this game's mobility and style just make for a very entertaining speedrun to watch! Also really glad there are more commentated speedruns as the few Auride made are some of the best speedrun videos I've ever seen. Great job on this one as well!
Thanks! Auride's commentated run is actually what got me into running okami. I also did a commentated all brushes run with Auride for gdq hotfix, which sounds up your alley

Everything in this video can be done, though a couple tricks - boulder skip and fire tablet skip - require you to do a work around for a bug in the steam API.

Can this run be done on hd for steam? Still going thruogh the video and dont know whats been patched or not
