I can see why for the orange portal used Tails color pallete, but it either may be the fact that there are sprites missing from Hill Top, or that the memory is full. That's just my assumption though, it may be something else.

13:22 It's very likely that a syllable was caught in your throat, like "Try t' 'feat the bosses". I did the same thing trying to say that same line in the manner you did. My tongue just went to a full stop for a moment, resulting in "try t' 'feat the bosses." It just halted making sound from too much d-sound/t-sound friction, that let up with the f-sound releasing my tongue. I'd compare it to pumping the brakes of a car.
15:46 reminds me of the level in the Forest of Illusion in Super Mario World where the background continues scrolling even after reaching the end of the level (if you use the platforms; I usually use Blue Yoshi and fly through it which makes the scrolling not trigger). Although in the case of SMW, it's supposed to continue scrolling.

tip: you can skip the water death section in cpz act 2. when you loop back to the beginning and go up the ramp on the arch pipe after the booster stop and spindash left and jump.
Looks like BTG caused a zip in chemical plant zone, you got stuck in the wall somehow if you push left, you zip to the right and if you push right you zip to the left.
I think that putting the portal gun in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 it is breaking the game by messing with the code causing the game to glitch sonic through walls,floors and other places which can cause Sonic to die.
