Thanks glad you enjoyed it. Was just a quick I put together. The ocean is very powerful and the day you loose respect for it is the day it will take you.
I’ve always been afraid of the sea. Even as a child paddling up to my ankles was enough for me. I have great respect for fishermen and others who earn a living on the water.
Spring tides are not unusual and come to the coastal areas often. One should always be prepared for them this time of the year when living near the coastline.

It's a little bit rough for sure but not that bad. We get that all the time here where I live. Comparing that storm to some of those we have here on a regular basis there is no comparison. Ours are huge. If this is the worst you get it's merely a ripple.
@@fishingPLZ Cornwall in the very far south west of the UK on that peninsular that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean. We get a lot of ferocious storms here. 40ft swells off Lands End are not at all uncommon. Some of the bigger storms the waves can be 80-100 feet high. On TH-cam Search type this in, I can't post a direct link. "200ft monster waves batter Sennen Cove, Cornwall recently". The waves that day were NOT 200 feet high as the video title claims - more like 100 feet high. The lookout on top of the cliff on the left is about 200 feet above sea level. The building on the left with the shiny roof? That's the life boat station. The top of the roof is 45 feet above the ground. That will give you some idea of the height of these waves battering the cliff in the background.
How's it Annette I don't think you need to worry. Between the club and the members it will be back to its former glory very soon. The mop up has already started
Yes as far as I know it was the equinox and that big storm surge coming from that massive storm south of south african and the gail force westerly just helped it along.

The sea takes back what rightfully belongs to the sea.
They say so.

Colonization and occupation's all fun and games - until God presents you with the moral bill with late charges and accruing interest.
