😍❤️ I love all your fabulous laces. You make gorgeous journals.
@carolbeeding4270 Thank you so much 😊 I appreciate your comments 💕 Are you a journal maker too ?
@@LisaPhillippi I try but I don’t do videos. I consider myself as a beginner.
So beautiful. Love the colors. I think you may be the queen of lace. 😊
@@nancyrhino6358 Thank you so much 😊 💕 it’s funny you say that… my friends have said that for a long time time because my stash is out of control 😂

I really enjoy your journals- and the flip throughs- very inspiring. Do you do any " how to " videos? Especially of the layered ones? I'm a little intrigued. You have great talent in creating your journals.
@@ginnys8215 Thank you so much 😊 💕I want to be able to make how to videos but I just haven’t done much of that yet … partially because of time and because I am intimidated… I will try to but since I work a full-time job, I don’t complete a journal all at one time it’s a little bit here and there… Meaning that I would have to learn to edit the videos together. 😬💕
@@LisaPhillippi I understand. Keep creating. I'll keep watching.
Beautiful journal, Lisa! Your work is exquisite. Do you use a ruffler attachment on your sewing machine to make the fabric ruffles? They look so even and closely placed. I just found and subbed to your channel a couple of days ago and haven't checked your channel history yet but am wondering if you do tutorials, for example, on your finishing details or sources for lace and ephemera. Thank you for sharing with us.
@@vickybossom9957 Thank you so much 😊 some of the ruffles I hand stitched ( because I saw a TH-cam video from shabbydabbydoodah )but the bigger one that is pleated on the last page I used my sewing machine - I pinned the pleated then ironed then sewed. Where I source my laces & trims- well everywhere… garage sales, thrift shops, estate sales, flea markets… I have been collecting for a very long time long time but I is getting harder to find ! 💕
Lisa your work is so beautiful 😍!! Thanks for telling about the SouvenirdelaFrance shop. I found some digital that I really like and they are on sale 🙌🏼! I couldn’t find the one with your cover though, it’s so beautiful. How did you decoupage it and what did you use? Also what is the base of the cover? Cardboard or an actual book? I wish you had all the free time to make more and more of these 😊❤
@@Beje1022 Thank you so much 😊 I will try to add a link to the exact digital kit I used for the cover…I did use a cardboard base because I could cut it to the size I needed…. I have a bunch of book covers but none were the right size. I distressed and inked the edges of the cardboard and used Beakon 3 in 1 glue to adhere the print to the cardboard. I wish I had more time to create too😭 but unfortunately I still have to work a full time job. Thanks again 💕

@@LisaPhillippi thank you for the tips and the digital link! 😀
@@LisaPhillippi Did you put Gesso on top of the book cover or did you use watered down glue? I am starting to work on one using a hard back book cover and wondering what I should use on top of the digital if anything.
@@Beje1022 I didn’t put anything on top of the paper on the outside/cover but you could use modge podge or Gel Medium. It is just a personal preference.
