Maybe we'll get a future case where the "Ultimate Detective" *Kyoko Kirigiri* is *wrongfully accused of murder* and put on trial for it (much like in *Chapter 5* of _Trigger Happy Havoc)_ with either Phoenix, the *"Ultimate Perceiving Lawyer" Apollo Justice,* the *"Ultimate Analytical Lawyer" Athena Cykes* or even the *"Ultimate Chief Prosecutor" Miles Edgeworth* on occasion (like in *"Bridge to the Turnabout"* from _Trials and Tribulations)_ having to defend her while the Naegi siblings (Makoto and Komaru), the "Ultimate Affluent Progeny" *Byakuya Togami,* the "Ultimate Writing Prodigy" *Toko Fukawa* (including her homicidal alter-ego persona *Genocide Jack),* the *Asahina siblings* (the "Ultimate Swimming Pro" *Aoi,* aka *"Hina,"* and her younger brother *Yuta* from _Ultra Despair Girls)_ and so on are watching from the gallery. As for the prosecution, though... I'm not sure; probably *someone under Edgeworth's wing* at the Prosecutor's Office. I mean, it'd *_rarely_* ever be Edgeworth himself nowadays, considering the fact he was *promoted to **_Chief_** Prosecutor* during the events of *_Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney_** (2007; 2008).* And lastly, for Kyoko herself, she'd be somewhat *amnesiac* at first (similar to how she initially was in _Trigger Happy Havoc,_ as well as Edgeworth in *"Turnabout Goodbyes"),* having little-to-no memory as to what happened or how *_she_* of all people became the prime suspect in a murder, but over time (and the course of the subsequent trial), she slowly starts remembering the facts and circumstances surrounding the case... *and who **_actually_** committed the murder.* *Monokuma* would even make an appearance from the *second case* onwards... and, as to be expected, *deliberately attempts to rig the trial as a **_class_** trial* (much to everyone's initial dismay), but with little-to-no avail thanks to our ever-so-faithful neutral, fair and impartial *judge,* as well as Edgeworth.
Pretty sure that the storyline is already thought out so unless you guessed something that was already planned its unlikely. Also for the record, Edgeworth still prosecutes important cases, and theoretically if the daughter of the headmaster of a prestigeous government-funded academy was on trial it could have happened.
