Stronghold is my favorite game of strategy. The first time I saw this game on my uncle's computer when I was 9 years old. As time goes by, 20 years have passed now I'm 29 years old, I still love it so so much. This game became a part of my childhood memory.

Thanks! If you have more than one worker in an iron mine and two of them try to take one iron bar at the same time, the iron glitch is triggered and the waiting time for new bars is practically zero. Combine it with ressource teleporting and you get that behavior :-D Not sure about the Definitive Edition yet... Maybe ^^
I placed 3 chapels close to the fire camp for a short way to bless all idle peasants and double manned them twice to get a total of 9 priests for faster blessing. Once most peasants were blessed, I built lots of woodcutters to make space and disbanded troops to get fresh new idle peasants to continue. The blessing stays on for about 9 months, after that, you have to bless them again, otherwise the become heathens again ^^ In general, you want to have lots of chapels and peasants that dont run around randomly. Idle workers or those stone guys are perfect, food production close to stockpile and granary works too, hunters and woodcutters however are not so ideal...

I did the economic campaign with and without glitches on easy a few years ago, but I think I sped up mission 2 and 4, so it wasnt an valid run even without segmentation. But I liked the strategies, so I took the editing approach ;-)
I dont want to spoil too much, but the way I did it here is by being lucky and have 2 iron miners take the first iron at the same time. There is also a more reliable way to cause this glitch but it only really works with 1 mine and I needed both of them to finish in july!
Question: why did you place multiple wheat farms, bakeries, fletchers etc when you could just do multiple workers for 1 building glitch to save time in travel between building and armory&granery plus save some wood? I think the time would be better. But on the other side your building scheme is so satisfying to watch, I love it !
Thanks! I wanted to make it a little challenging and win the defensive missions as fair as possible. You always have to wait for the final wave and then a little bit more until the victory screen, so there is no way to save time as long as your army is big enough at the end. However, you should avoid multiple workers since that requires pausing the game and thus delays the final attack! If you are ok with using glitches and still want a fast time, you should only rely on teleporting the goods by walling everything in. That reduces the walking distances to 0 and does not need pausing :-)
There is no difference, they all cost the same and they all have the same effect on fear factor. The gallow is the smallest, so its easier for me to place many of them in a short time. The same goes for the small gardens. If I have time on the other hand, I tend to mix them up a little because the torture devices look nicer with different colors and my peasants surely appreciate that ;-)

No, glitches are ok and pretty much everyone in the leaderboard uses them. The real cheats like getting free gold or not needing ressources to build are forbidden though! However, if you are interested in a glitchless run, I did one on easy several years ago. O:-)
did exactly what you did in mission 15, the gatehouse immediately goes up when the ram gets near it. this isnt played on the newest patch i think. That and the Ram doesnt operate without the engineers inside of it.
Hmm, you cant move an empty ram, thats correct, but you should still be able to attack things, and since its invisible for the enemy without engineers, the gatehouse will remain open. I just tried it with the newest patch, still works for me...
Well, its not a cheat, but a glitch. When there are no engineers in the ram it gets ignored by the enemy. And while the normal movements are blocked, the game still lets you attack which results in this behavior. The AI also does this when you shoot down some of the engineers before they can enter the siege tent which is really annoying!

I have an eye on Sparrows Extreme Challenges, but beside those I never really considered it. There are so many of them and for a completionist, thats a problem ^^
Oh well, I dont know, I always disliked the desert setting of Crusader, and even with the Europe mod, there is still the Skirmish mode which I am not a fan of... I prefer building up a castle and defending against fixed waves which I can prepare against or taking an army and a castle with fixed defenses which I can siege. And we dont have to talk about 2 and 3, the graphics are looking just not the same, and even Warlords does not make me want to play it...

But take into consideration making walkthrough and guides or speed runs could be really fun too.and who knows maybe after some time you'll get used to the western theme of the crusader one
The way I did it here was by having a combination of multiple workers, ressource teleporting and the right timing. The glitch is triggered when 2 workers try to take the first iron at the same time. With 10 workers waiting for iron, there is a high chance that at least one of the mines does this! However, hoping to do it with only 4 workers and both mines at the same time is very unlikely and does take a lot of tries!

@@Onekidable Double manning is one of the common glitches in current speedruns. You need to: select the building, pause the game, pause work (zzz), resume work, resume the game. When done correctly, a second worker will start working in the same building. Then repeat it a couple of times and hope to trigger the actual iron glitch ^^

Can you explain what happend with the: The Snake hunt Begins mission? Always takes me ages to get % blessed population.
