- This is a compilation of 8mm movies I shot between 1968 and 1970 in da Yoo Pee*. Specifically, of the Keweenaw Central Railroad at Calumet, Michigan. Being nearby in the summers made it easy to drive up and explore the area. I made several trips up there over the next few years.
Because it is a compilation, the film color varies - the old Kodachrome vs. Ektachrome thing (which anyone old enough to know what those names are will understand), as well as the limitations of fifty-foot roll film and wind-up cameras!

*Yoo Pee - the U.P., Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Inhabitants are known as Yoopers. They eat pasties (Yum!) and call other Michiganders "Trolls" because they live below The Bridge.
In Michigan, The Bridge means the Big Mac over the straits of Mackinac (pronounced Mackinaw. Michigan logic.).
