1.Lead, kindly Light, amid th’encircling gloom; Lead thou me on! The night is dark, and I am far from home; Lead thou me on! Keep thou my feet; I do not ask to see The distant scene-one step enough for me. 2.I was not ever thus, nor pray’d that thou Shouldst lead me on. I loved to choose and see my path; but now, Lead thou me on! I loved the garish day, and, spite of fears, Pride ruled my will. Remember not past years. 3.So long thy pow’r hath blest me, sure it still Will lead me on O’er moor and fen, o’er crag and torrent, till The night is gone. And with the morn those angel faces smile, Which I have loved long since, and lost awhile!
In this time of our lives with all this and that happening, I come here to rest and be centered. There is a "perfection of sound, of harmony, of serenity" when I listen to your voices. There is a gentleness that permeates my being in truly allowing the music to surround me. I very much appreciate your arrangements and beautiful quality of all of your voices. GOD bless you all !! ~♥
My friend, come to your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Give Him your love and worship, and He will welcome you with open arms. Repent of your sins, and ask the forgiveness of Almighty God, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. That was very kind. I respect that. May the Universe be an ever guiding blanket of hope and peace for you, in whatever you do. Much love ❤
You have several videos of this arrangement and this video is my favorite rendition. While all are skillful, this organist's particular registration has all the richness I remember of classic Tabernacle style.
I simply love their voices and neat discipline - I wish I had lived in the United States of America.

This song is very precious to me, I had this played at my fathers funeral. I play it when I feel down, and every time we have general conference.
Best years of my life, singing with or accompanying a choir on the organ. 😊❤
This is a wonderful hymn.
It is!
Lead, Kindly Light. An all encompassing Amen.
Anything played on this organ is bound to sound terrific ! Surely great sounds !

Amen 🙏
Beautiful arrangement. Not too far off the original, yet close enough to be perfectly enjoyable.
