Now you've crossed the 2 longest rivers in the US, the Missouri River 2,341 miles and the Mississippi River only one mile shorter at 2,340 miles. When crossed the Mississippi in Minnesotra and said "I didn't know the Mississippi came this far", it triggered some Mississippi trivia in my head... the river starts Lake Itasca in Minnesota and snakes back and forth some 681 miles, more miles than in any other state it passes through. $80 for a National Parks annual pass is a darn good deal, I'll just toss this out there for any Veterans that happen to read it... Veterans can apply for a FREE lifetime National Park pass, spouses and children qualify for free annual passes.
Great video... Jackson is funny when he thinks there's a chance of some food... RV's are land yachts, so it's still Sailing Sunday... Will you guys hit California...
The Mississippi River begins in northern Minnesota at Lake Itasca. We used to camp there all the time and you can literally walk across the river where it starts! Great video!
Wow that’s so cool! We didn’t know any of that, the Mississippi always seemed like a southern state thing haha, we had no idea it came all the way up it was a cool surprise ☺️☺️
@@SailingSunday we of course love your sailing videos but these videos are great! Living in Minnesota for 20 years, it was fun to see you guys go through. Not much to see in Minnesota down on the southern part where you passed.
I love South Dakota. Road my motorcycle there in 1990. We did the badlands crazy horse Rushmore. You definitely made the right choice. It's so beautiful there.
@@SailingSunday Given the barren landscape before you arrive... this place looks like you fell into another world. I will always remember how vibrant the stars were at night. Enjoy!
Ok you guys are smart, Nebraska is AWFUL ;) not sure where you are...BUT the Mammoth pit in Hot Springs SD. Devils Tower in Wyoming the National Museum of Military Vehicles in Dubois WY. Tetons in Jackson...Hells Half Acre, not much there (filmed Starships Troopers movie) Cody and of course YELLOWSTONE. You get to Cheyenne I know the best breakfast in Wyoming....period. Safe travels you four...
Thanks! We missed Devils Tower, we drove straight by it and didnt even realise until it was too late!!! Yellow Stone was amazing though, we spoke to one person who had been there 4 times and never seen a grizzly bear and we saw about 4 grizzly! It was awesome!
Nah, I think the insurance was extra, like $250, but they credit us back that money because it came with a few other extra options that the guys didn't have, like table and chairs, bedding etc... we had to buy all that oruselves and they credited those receipts also!
That’s scary with the guy stopping next to you at 1 in the morning. One thing I don’t need to worry too much about is someone trying to get into my rv with my Maggie in here. I was cracking up with the jail seen and loved watching Jackson’s eyes while Brittany was talking. ❤️⛵️🦮🐕🦺
Yeah it was weird... He was just on the phone on loud speaker yelling...... we weighed up the different outcomes and figured it was better to just let him finish and move one... The second option was to go out and have jacksons bark.... lol

I loved the jail break!
Same damn thing you see on the water. Must be a mental thing. "Oh I feel so much safer anchoring right next to somebody else".
Looking forward to next week. Have not been or seen South Dakota. Sure would like to see a current picture of you Brittni. Take care all 4 of you.

The Mississippi starts in Minnesota. It gets MUCH wider going south. Visit Prince's Paisley Park in MN.
We learn something every day! Haha
Oh Great ice cream in Saratoga WY. don't blink you'll miss it
In South Dakota, close to Mount Rushmore. You also have the crazy horse monument. And as you go into Wyoming, there’s devils tower.😎👍
Damn everyone is telling us to go to the devils tower, and we only realised this as we had already passed it!!! We will have to go back now!
I would normally recommend the NE entrance to Yellowstone, but as they say, winter is coming!!
I'm really enjoying this series guys, great job! Thanks 🤗💞
So glad to hear you’re enjoying it, we had so much fun!
Hi guys, when in the USA wash all fruits and veggies before eating. They are covered in pesticides.
we noticed a lot of the food in the US is covered ins omething that kills you or full of something that kills you...! lol
You're probably already past it, but if you aren't, visit Devil's Tower in Wyoming. But FIRST watch Close Encounters of the Third Kind before you do!
We missed it!!! We were so mad lol
North shore of Minnesota is the place to go!
What a wonderful road trip, so groovy. I hope you were able to stop by Sturgis in S.D., the world famous biker town where Harley-Davidson's rule.

Badlands is a special place. I once got surrounded in my car by buffalos there many moons ago. Fun trip you all are on!

Thats awesome! We bought a yearly one, we hope to go back there on the way back to the boat later in the year.
Your going the best route
Oh that’s good to hear! So many ways we could have gone it was hard to
Know what to pick haha
Would be curious of the cost comparison og traveling by RV vs. Boat. I feel like both have pros and cons but honestly curious of the differences.
glad you made it out of La Cross with only 1 meth head encounter.
Badlands are a beautful attraction! What breed is Jackson?
i live a short drive from vancouver
Such a beautiful city! We are excited to be going back☺️
@@SailingSunday weather should be good for awhile before the fall rain starts. as btittney knows all too well. enjoy and as always be safe

Be sure to visit walls drug store.
But the sad thing is. Not enough Americans hang the Red, White, and Blue...🇺🇸
All you missed in Minnesoata is high taxes
Haha oh that’s a relief 😆
