You nailed it! The stamps are for Steampunk Spells! In my opinion, you could use some of the stamps with several of their collections, especially the hot air balloon. Many of the collections have a balloon on them!

I think the black sizzix set is for english paper piecing. You use the mat so your piecing tool doesn't damage your work surface.
