Thanks Russell. This was a great day. You are right about the editing, it takes a lot of time to edit the videos, but I enjoy doing it. Thanks for watching & commenting, it is appreciated. Cheers. Eddie.
Hi Pete, yes I agree with you, the views were superb, well worth the effort. Thanks again for watching & commenting, it is always appreciated. Take care. Cheers. Eddie.
Thanks. It was a great day with great views all the way, well worth the effort to get to the top. Thanks for watching & commenting, it is appreciated. Cheers. Eddie.
Thanks Leona/Chris. We were surprised at how quiet Scafell Pike was, we were expecting it to be a lot busier. We had a great day and were lucky with the weather. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers. Eddie & Carol
Thanks Mick, we were going to do this walk the day before (Thursday) but checked the weather and it was forcast for better weather on the Friday, so we changed to the Friday. I am pleased we did. We had a great day with great views all day. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers. Eddie.
Morning Eddie! Another one for my Favourites list here. What a wonderful walk and what a great job of filming and editing. You really made the music and all the stills, especially, convey the joy and triumph of the day. My parents and my brother would have loved it too, I'm sure, so thanks for taking the cameras along for us! All the best and Happy Whitsuntide to you both!
Morning Elizabeth. This is still Carol's favourite walk. It was a fantastic feeling ( and quite emotional, to be honest) getting to the top of England's highest mountain. We both thoroughly enjoyed the day and it is one which will live long in the memory. Thanks again for watching & commenting. Best Wishes. Eddie.
Yes the weather was superb. We really enjoyed this route up, the views are great all the way up and well worth the effort. Thanks for watching & commenting. Fingers crossed the weather is good for you at Easter. Cheers. Eddie.
Thanks Lezley, we were going to do it the day before ( Thursday) but seen the weather forcast for the Friday was better. We had an amazing day. Pleased it cleared for you, when you went up. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers. Eddie
Well done! Although I personally think that Scafell Pike is the most boring mountain in all Lakeland! My favourite Lakeland fell is Mungrisdale Common in the Northern Fells. I don't like well loved shapely magnificent mountains, I like lesser known wild grassy tops that are just like high hills but are officially Mountains as they break over 2,000ft. Glad you had a good time though! It looks like you did! With Best Wishes! Cheers - Mike.
Thanks Mike, we had a great day. You can't beat wild grassy tops with a bit of bog thrown in for good measure, ha! Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers. Eddie.
You certainly picked the right day to go to the rooftop of England! What fantastic views you had and it didn't look too crowded at the top. Once again well done to you both, how many Wainwright's have you completed now?
Thanks again Mary. We were going to do this walk on Carol's birthday, which was the day before ( Thursday) but seen the weather forcast was better for the Friday. Pleased we changed the days as the views were amazing . We were surprised at how quiet the walk was, considering the weather, we expected it being really busy, but is was not bad at all. Carol has completed 99 and I am on 110 Wainwrights. We are planning to go back over within the next week or so, to get Carol to 100 Wainwrights. Again, thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers. Eddie.
Hi David. This route is probably the most direct route up to Scafell Pike. It is a great route up with great views all the way, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The Corridor Route is a more challenging route than the route taken in this video. Thanks for watching & commenting, it is appreciated. Cheers. Eddie.
Excellent video and great music choices. No doubt the editing took more time than the actual walk. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Russell. This was a great day. You are right about the editing, it takes a lot of time to edit the videos, but I enjoy doing it. Thanks for watching & commenting, it is appreciated. Cheers. Eddie.
Wonderful vid Eddie. Your pics show more than a thousand words...great tunes too!
Thanks Nick. It is a great walk up to Scafell Pike. Thanks for watching & commenting, it is appreciated. Cheers. Eddie.
Arguably the best summit views in Lakeland. Great vid.

You had the perfect weather for that one. That's the exact route I'm looking to do this Easter weekend. Fingers crossed we are lucky with the weather.

Thanks Mike. You are right there!! Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers. Eddie.
We did the same route as you in the summer of 2018 and the tempretaures wiere in the 30s - way too hot but worth it. It was fairly busy up there too.
Hi. I could imagine it being tough in that heat, but worth the effort for the great views. Thanks for watching & commenting. Cheers. Eddie.

Thanks Lezley, we were going to do it the day before ( Thursday) but seen the weather forcast for the Friday was better. We had an amazing day. Pleased it cleared for you, when you went up. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers. Eddie

Glad you've still got 114 to do, that means at least another114 videos to look forward to, great! Mary
Thanks Mary, I really appreciate the comments. I find doing the videos is harder than the actual walks!!
Did this walk at the weekend. Beautiful area of the UK. However my legs are still in bits a couple of days later 😣 Worth it tho ⛰️👍
Hi, it is a cracking walk but you're right, tough on the legs! Take care. Cheers. Eddie.
Hi Eddie. Is this by what is known as the corridor route? Cheers David
Hi David. This route is probably the most direct route up to Scafell Pike. It is a great route up with great views all the way, we thoroughly enjoyed it. @@eddiecaisley5746 Thanks Eddie. Another great video by the way. Cheers David
How long did it take altogether?
Hi, think it took between 7 to 8 hours, but it takes longer for me to do the walks when filming and taking photos for the video. Thanks for watching.
@@eddiecaisley5746 Thank you for your answer. Your extra time spent to film paid off! It's a great video and thanks for sharing it.
