Great interview!! You can hear (the very young) Bill say at the end that she was in town to perform at Dayton's. Those shows, in the Dayton's Skyroom, took place on Nov 20 & 21, 1967.

Luv this interview - thx for posting - Ms. Dionne mesmerizing as always - the closer the camera gets, the more beautiful you realize she is, just naturally - and, of course, her poised candor is remarkable and elegantly refreshing - a star!! 🙂

I have a hunch this was recorded Tuesday November 25th, 1969. Warwick's breakout single, Anyone Who Had a Heart, was released in late November 1963, John Davidson's self-titled album came out that year as well.
Beautiful interview, thank you for preserving it.

This was definitely 1967. She mentions “I Say a Little Prayer”, which was her current single in October of 1967, following “The Windows of the World” which was her previous single and her current album at the time. Also, this was before her 1968 oral surgery that corrected the bone loss she was suffering in her upper teeth, according to her book. Her smile had diminished greatly between 1966 and 1967 during this condition, and she had followed the direction of her oral surgeon to get it corrected.

Judging by the teeth and the hair, this is not the 1970s. Appears to be from the late 1960s, likely 1967 or 1968.

I would say this was 1968. “Don’t Make Me Over” was released late 1962.

Her teeth look different back then than they do in 2024. Does she now have false teeth or implants?

@daddygrace253: Who cares anyway? It's very likely because she is 92 already and have smoked most of her life. Anyway, can we just sit back and enjoy one of the most beautiful and talented female artists in the music industry ever having a truly honest conversation about her life and career? ❤
