  • We have made a huge family decision to sell everything and relocate to an area that will be safer for our family as Christians in the long term.
This has not been an easy decision but one we felt we needed to make for our children and theirs.
We took this summer off and traveled the USA and have now flown across the ocean to Tbilisi Georgia. We will stay in our hotel for 8 days as we search for a rental home that suits our needs.
Join us as we share our journey with you on this channel and also via Facebook.
May God bless each one of you as you, too, seek to do His will.
Thank you for all your love and support, we appreciate it every bit of it!
If you wish to support our channel, please do so by sharing our videos and helping us grow our channel.

I have a Dutch Reformed friend who was very much against icons, but he finally came around when I told him that Jesus is the image of God or icon. I see them as ways of portraying events and the saints who have been such examples of devotion to Christ before us.

I liked your videos in Georgia, and you should have visited Armenia, which is Georgia's neighbor and the first country to embrace Christianity. There you will see beautiful nature, the towering Mount Ararat, lakes, delicious food, and medieval churches. Through your videos, I noticed that you are interested in ancient architecture and ancient churches. Armenia is like an open-air museum.

I think the word is "exasperating".... To me it would be exasperating to walk the streets of a foreign city where you don't know if you're in a "bad" part of town. I'm also "country folk". The town i live in has 1900 people. The town i grew up in had only 700 people. There were only 38 people in my graduating class. I think i would react the same way your sweet Arietta does to all of the traffic. 😅
The cathedral is so beautiful! That's wonderful that the people are so friendly. I'm stalking your channel every afternoon to see more of the sights, and to see how you and your beautiful family are doing.
God Bless and be safe! ❤️🙏🥰

I like small towns too and we are now living in a small village, very quiet here except for someone's dog that likes barking. The city is interesting though, lots to look at.

We don’t pray to saints or the Mother of God. We venerate them, and ask them for their prayers the same way you might ask a fellow Christian for their prayers, for you, in times of need. ☦️

The Lord has no business in the building of these idol temple.

Churches have been built as meeting houses since the days of the apostles and before that they met in synagogues. I think itvwoukd be a stretch to say it's wrong to build one. I think that verse likely is talking about not being contained to a church. We believe God is everywhere, we can worship Him everywhere but that would include in a church/Cathedral.

@@countrysideacreshomestead2008 pretty much all older churches in Europe were build based on the money income by threading people with the Fegefeuer and that they have to buy/earn their salvation. That’s why these churches look like that. We know from acts that the early church mostly meet in their houses, sometimes in the temple. But in general we find absolute now mention of churches or instructions how to build large, majestic „meeting“ houses in the New Testament.
Any „church“ who displays human made pictures of Jesus the Holy one, should be torn down. Jesus is God and we should not make any pictures of God, this will only create a false and flawed picture of who Jesus is, something that is extremely dangerous, especially for kids because when kids see pictures or Movies where somebody is playing Jesus they automatically will have this picture of Jesus in mind for the rest of their lives.
I know orthodox say they don’t pray to the saints, they just talk to them… well we are not called to talk to the death, and that includes the saints, we are called to pray and talk to the Lord Jesus Christ, this is all we need. To hang fictional pictures at a wall of some persons that we never saw nor met and then talk to them is not „respect these saints“ it is pure idolatry.

I am glad to hear you made friends with Orthodox priest Father Gleeson. Keep in touch with him & he will explain our Orthodox Church faith to you. He can recommend some books for you to learn about its history, culture, practices & spirituality.
Our temples are spaces where heaven comes down to us. That is why we make them so beautiful. The images are of the 12 apostles, the martyrs & the saints, Our Lord & Our Theotokos. Gold is to remind us of heaven, our Home & the Glory of God.

At 3:40 your son ask what that little domed building was. It is a little place where we bless water and possibly baptize people if need be. This is usually done on the Feast of the Jordan in mid-January.

That would have been neat for sure. Some people are afraid to visit other churches than their own. I think it's a good thing to do. We have been to many over the years, even Mormon and Jehovah’s Witnesses. I think it's important to show an interest and to try to understand one another. The most important thing is to have a firm, unshakable understanding of the Bible.

Regarding the lively trees, they look like Platanus x acerafolia (maple leafed, Acer is genus for Maple trees so maple like foliage).
OR it could be Platanus x hispanicus. Both are what's called a grex crosses of the genus, that's what the "x" in the name denotes.
What a wonderful adventure today❤ The architecture is so gorgeous. So unlike the buildings in the west.

To all current Christians, you may want to do some research on the origins of Christianity. Helped me to understand what happened early on and how Christianity evolved into the many and varied practices we see now. Speaking of Jesus, let's not forget that as a Jew, he frequented the temple and that was quite elaborate.

The main good thing about having homeless cats is that there are no pests in the city,if you go to cities in the western countries theres rats and bugs everywhere.Cats are best pest control. Ive heard how in one Australian town they got rid of all cats and in coming years pests destroyed all their crop savings. So its either cats or bugs and rats. Usually the cats are also taken care of depending where they roam,if they stay in one neighborhood it becomes their cat that they take to vet and feed and then just release them,so they arent homeless, they are free. When it comes to piss and poop issue I guess Georgia doesn't control their cat/dog population, usually where im from they spray the cats and release them and every apartment block ends up having at least 1 cat they all take care of it like a shared pet. With dogs we dont have this issue because they were all put to sleep, too many maulings.

King James Version and was never more then one John 4:24 read and understand through God's Wisdom and not of a man. Humble yourselve's and ask God for that knowledge Acts 2:36-40 The day of the Church of Acts after Jesus Christ had finished the law, when he died and said it is finished John 19:30
King James Version This was the birth of the Church of Acts that was prophesied of Matthew 16:18 Jesus was ehat rock and still is today he is the cornerstone and also the door into thd kingdom there is no other way in, read Ephesians 4:5
