  • Tattoo is very popular everywhere in the world. I love tattoos very much, even you don’t see much on me. But, believe me, I have!
Tattoos are beautiful to look at from outside, but in my country Japan, tattoos have deep inner meaning. This meaning is often connected to Zen/Philosophy.
Let’s have journey to Zen world through tattoo.
First part is looking at “Karajishi (Chinese Lion) and Peony flower”

Hi I've been really interested to know more about japanese culture, and since I was born with the year of the Dragon (2000) and I am also planning to get some tattoos can I request if you could also do what goes with dragons especially for tattoos. I highly respect Japanese culture beliefs. Thankyou 🤗

Hello Sana! I had a Japanese tattoo master tell me the same thing about dragons and lotus flower. How come they cannot go together? I went with cherry blossoms instead but am curious!

I wouldn't say that it's "no go" to combine dragon and lotus flower as you see them on many tattoos and paintings. Maybe the dragon has special meaning or story behind it. I would suggest to ask your master directly. ;-)
