GWSR Cotswold Festival of Steam 2024

Over the late May bank holiday, it was the turn of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway's yearly Cotswold Festival of Steam event.
In a first during the preservation era, the railway hosted newly built GWR engines that had been completed during the 21st Century.
These were 9351 GWR mogul 2-6-0 from the West Somerset Railway.
Saint Class 2999 Lady of Legend from the Didcot Railway Centre.
And at the fourth time of asking with visits to the East Somerset Railway, Seven Valley Railway and the West Somerset Railway all falling through at the last minute. The GWSR was the first railway to host the newly built Grange Class 6880 Betton Grange which pulled in the crowds.
