This is such a peaceful, tranquil and dignified scene. But I have to wonder if they have the manners and wherewithal to not urinate and defecate in the water.
I came looking for the Planet Earth BBC clip of the snow monkeys narrated by Attenborough, and I was about to click back until I watched the first 10 seconds and thought _"dayum u fine"_
According to the latest BBC documentary 'Life' which features the same location, what happened is that there is a social order between monkeys that are allowe to joing the spa and monkeys that are not. There is about 60 degrees Cent beween in and out. Nothing changes. The same situation as in your local golf club. This documentary mentiones only the good side.
Unique faces in nature orphaned one took to an old senior snow monkey others avoided elder one was cantankerous He warmed the ole boy to where they couldn't be parted fond documentary 😀 👍
Monkey like " You upright clothes wearing fools. We are smart we don't get stuck in daily commute or pay taxes or rent or any other nonsense humans place upon themselves We just chill and enjoy nature and don't pay a cent or need drugs to escape our reality."
Eu tenho tanta inveja desses macacos.. Eles tem tanta sorte, vivem uma vida de bicho e não de gente, e passam o dia inteiro com o corpinho imerso nessa água gostosa, que privilégio, vivem a melhor vida possível
It's may look cute but I seen a nature documentary where if you're not part of the "elite" group you're not allowed in ,, some of them freeze to death with their young. If the camera went upwards into the background I'm sure you would have seen them on the mountain as the other video I watched showed and talked about
The documentary series you are referring to is called "life" by the BBC. The episode is titled "primates." Great watch I would recommend to any wildlife/nature enthusiast!
no she was in the spring for people, she even said that they built one just for monkeys further up the mountain, does it take seven(!) years for someone to argue this? lol
Miroslav Černín ....if it’s so hot there so that water dries that quickly , the air must be so hot . I don’t think it’s possible for a animal or human to breathe in those circumstances
After watching this video I don't see how anyone who rejects evolution could not be at least a little suspicious that humans and monkeys share a common ancestor.
Many diseases can be transmitted from non-human primates to humans and vice versa. You'd need a lot of health precautions before hand so you don't risk infecting them or them infecting you. I work with capuchins and I can never touch them and had to get a bunch of vaccines and tests done just to be able to stand a foot away from their enclosure.
Zoonosis, infectious diseases carried by non humans animals that can be transmitted to humans through close contact ,bites ,body fluids, waste . On the human side , You and your kids are enjoying the hot tub splashing around in the delightfully natural warm spring water with the cute little monkeys having fun ,A few days ago one of your children came into contact with a classmate in school who didn't feel very good in school and was sent home by the nurse . Unknowingly you child was exposed to the flu and a particularly nasty strain at that You guy in your fun pass it on to the monkeys who pas it on to one another soon the entire monkey troop is dead the cold harsh weather scarce food and fiu together was just to much for there little bodies
Can't believe she got in with them! That spring was built specifically for the monkeys the reason the Japanese don't like to share is because the young ones use it as a toilet
@youniverse9 Peacefully? hell to the no, go onto BBC iPlayer and watch the primates episode of "Life"... these guys arn't peaceful, as beautiful as they are, only a select bloodline are allowed to be in the springs. the others a punished severely if they try to get in the spring.
Liokay so true. Ppl don’t get int they think when they smell chemical it’s over chlorinated , when in fact it’s filled with ammoniated urine and pool chemicals .. it isn’t Just chlorine that goes in to pools always , but other things rk maintain alkalinity etc. it’s nasty when that smell occurs. I won’t get in anywhere that is present. People are so damn nasty for peeing in the pool lol. Kids and adults both do it and it’s nasty
These monkeys bath more than some people I know here in Baltimore.
STREET TALK BALTIMORE I’m from there & you ain’t never lied 🤣

These monkeys must be so clean, they bath and they also groom each other! So cute! 😊
Is it weird I’m jealous of their life?
Nope same here
If only life was like monkey, no taxes, no working hours, just monkey in a jacuzzi
Its so funny to watch them groom each other.
It sure is
This is such a peaceful, tranquil and dignified scene. But I have to wonder if they have the manners and wherewithal to not urinate and defecate in the water.
these have got ot be the coolest monkies ive ever seen.so stunning
The monkeys in the hot spring are thinking "All I need now is some sake."
When that monkey rolls up the snowball at 2:58 it almost looks like he is in the primitive the process of inventing a wheel.
we're screwed if they discover fire...
No we screwed if they discover mathematics
teagbroh643 GDC They probably know how, but they’re too busy relaxing

You can see Monkey Alan in there, he bloody loves it
It could be the other way around, as well. 😮😊
People joined monkeys, who lived there before, naturally wearing wool in suits.
Why are there no monkeys in Canada :(

the water is above an area of volcanic activity making it like boiling water in a saucepan
癒されますね🐒

Now, i wonder what they would do if they built them a sauna?
I'm honestly a little disappointed that the monkeys just learned to do this from humans and haven't been bathing in them for thousands of years.
1:33 aphex twin starts to play
why im here
where exactly is that place?!!
and is it visitable?!!
She is a real journalist.
hold on, there are monkeys in hot spring⁉️Holy smoke japan is amazing place…🐒
The bit you don't know about these hot springs. Is that they're actually run by a couple of monkeys.
I wish I could join them.
@hermesake Hot springs are all over Japan, They call it Onsen. For japanese ,domestic travels equal onsen travels.
SNOW monkeys learned in the 60s from humans to get warm in the springs... and to wear fur coats.
My ex-wife told me I looked like a monkey
She’s beautifulllllll
I agree if you mean the monkey if you mean the ape nope

Yes, actually taking bath with thme is forbidden because of sanitary situation. Breaking rules is also the style of BBC documentary.

2:32 watch monkeys back...Is it really drying that fast or is it just lighting and cammera issues...
I think the water is draining down it’s coat
It must be hot around those baths, maybe it really dries up fast.
