Nonku needs therapy. She has so much grace for people who don’t like her (Jojo and Annie) but easily discards Mabusi and Slee. Maybe growing up she wanted to be accepted by the whiteness in primary. There’s a scene where she says Jojo you are my best white friend. 🥴
Maybe Slee is too innocent for the show in that storyline of Jojo. If she was really show streetwise she’d just apologise from the get go and that would have thrown Jojo under the bus. Slee’s naivety in this storyline worked against her.
Nonku is cringe when she says all those things to Annie. I know you love me. We have love hate relationship. You are fragile. It’s cringe but based on what you guys saying that maybe she knows me then I guess I get where she’s coming from.
I found Nonku weird for being “cool” with Annie on that pool with Jojo. They have so many issues they haven’t addressed but you get along with her just because you want Annie to hate Slee?🫣 Nonku was so childish in that scene
