You must have done a good job at trimming the video smoothly. Definitely wasn't a 1hr 38min flight time lol. I think you skipped ahead and trimmed after turning the camera inside the plane...?🤫😉 You made it seem too fast Awesome video. Looks like a super smooth aircraft/flight. I love flying on airbus more than Boeing. Boeing's engines are way too loud, and usually doesn't seem as smooth.
Flew on the 321 from Phoenix to Miami and back. Very comfortable flight I love that plane. And no turbulence. Well a couple of bumps because of a storm but otherwise it was great. Great video as always, thank you for sharing
Great video again. I really love the fact as i work on Airbus planes every day that even in the South Pacific they operate with the European birds. Although they are actually from Alabama. 😎
It’s there. It’s just hard to make out because I used the wide angle lens for this flight. From 18:30 through 19:00 is when it’s probably the most visible. At about 18:45 it’s pretty much directly above the engine. If you look close enough you can see it jutting out into the ocean. But again, the details are kind of lost when you use the wide-angle lens, which I decided to use because of where I was sitting. Anyways, thanks for watching man!
It's really not that bad. And you know they still have plenty of widebodies making the trips everyday. LIH is an outlier as they have short runways. I don't know that anything much bigger than an A321 could feasibly land at LIH on a regular basis/fully loaded. Thanks for watching man!
Skylite, 1st of all,yes i had a glitch on my smart phone, causing me to receive notifications, problem found and fixed. Beautiful flight across the Pacific. Was there some strange cloud formations? That was a very smooth landing, glad you enjoyed the flight,i sure did.
How do you get to fly so many places all the time? You're videos are excellent by the way, very enjoyable! I can only watch your videos and think about when I get vacation time to fly somewhere!
Believe it or not, all of the travel you see on this channel doesn't even have anything to do with my regular job. I don't work for any of the airlines, so I don't fly for free. And my regular full time job doesn't involve travel. Everything you see posted here is done on my own time, on my own dime. And I do spend a lot of money on this channel. This channel started as a hobby that I would upload my aviation travels to for fun. Now, I upload 10 videos per week, and it's really turned into a second job that I lose money on. I don't keep track of my time working on the channel, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's more per week then my regular job. Most of the traveling I do now is solely for this channel. I have 20 flights booked between now and the end of February, and all 20 of them are to make sure I continue to have enough footage to meet my upload schedule. So, I really appreciate everyone taking the time to watch, comment, like, subscribe, etc. A ton of work goes into keeping this channel alive. Hope that helps answer your question my friend.

Airplane geek talk here - I’m pretty sure the neo has the engine with the geared turbofan, so the big fan is spinning at a much lower speed, and therefore creates less noise? Can anyone confirm this? (Great video by the way!)
Depends, some NEOs are equipped with the Pratt & Whitney PW1100G (the geared turbofan engine you mention) and others are equipped with a CFM LEAP-1A. This particular aircraft is equipped with the Pratt & Whitney engines.

So, you’ll notice in the description that this flight was actually 6 hours and 14 minutes long. I cut out a large portion of the cruise on this flight. But, even for Kauai, which is the farthest Hawaiian island away from the West Coast, that is a long flight. We were fighting, in some places, over 150 mph headwinds on this flight. So, they paralleled the coast for quite a while to angle back down to the islands, because the jet stream was a little more forgiving farther north. Thanks for watching my friend!
Well, I don’t fly into Los Angeles that often. So, I don’t know exactly how things are determined there. But, often times runway selection, at large airports, is determined by either where you are coming inbound from, or departing to. For example, DFW, which I’m much more familiar with, is set up north/south, with multiple runways on both the east and the west side of the airport. The terminals being in the middle. Basically like Los Angeles only oriented north/south instead of east/west. So, at DFW if you are inbound from the west you are going to land on one of the west runways. If you are inbound from the east you are going to land one of the east runways. This prevents having to cross over in front of other traffic to get to one of the runways on the opposite side of the airport. So, the gate you are using once you land has nothing to do with which runway you’re assigned. And it’s the same story when you’re departing. If your final destination is San Diego, you’re going to be assigned one of the west runways. Even if your gate is on the east side of the airport. This, once again, prevent you from having to cross over in front of the other departing traffic once you takeoff.
No. Not in the literal sense. This is not the whole flight from start to finish. I made the executive decision, long ago, that I was not going to upload whole, unedited, flights from start to finish. Especially when they are long flights where, besides takeoff and landing, not much happens. I decided that I was only going to include the important stuff that people actually care about watching. On this video I cut out hours worth of nothing but straight, level, cruise flying. This particular flight was 6 hours and 13 minutes long. If you ever want to know exactly how long the flight was, you can find that information listed in the description on every full flight video. I cut this video down to about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Because frankly, there wasn’t anything interesting that happened during most of the cruise portion. I list these as “full flights” because you get the full experience. You get to see everything that is important to the actual flight. The takeoff, the landing, the push back, the engine start, the onboard amenities and services, etc. there are channels out there that publish the entire flights from start to finish without any edits. I don’t see how that’s beneficial to anyone. In my opinion, it wastes my time by trying to render and upload a video that long. Which would take forever. And, it wastes your time. I don’t think there are very many viewers who actually would sit and watch a full eight hour long video. So, by cutting out the unimportant parts it is easier for the viewers and subscribers to find the specific parts that they are wanting to see. Hopefully that answers the question my friend. Thanks for watching.
@@sla31 Anytime. I've always enjoyed listening to airplanes engines whirr mainly 737 and A380. th-cam.com/video/j2_hkgzytcA/w-d-xo.html from 3:11 to 4:28
I think you could buy a full bottle if you wanted. But, this isn’t Spirit, Allegiant, Easyjet or Ryanair. Not only was unlimited amounts of free water available, but you also receive free snacks throughout the duration of the flight, a free meal which you don’t get on many other West Coast to Hawaii flights, and free alcohol (Hawaiian rum punch). And this is all in coach, on a 5ish hour flight. So, the service is actually pretty good on Hawaiian.
On the Airbus, you get that chime when the No Smoking sign set to AUTO in the flight deck and the landing gear is retracted. It's not somebody calling the FAs :)
Tcast thank you for responding but why would the passengers need to be alerted about the landing gear being retracted? And isn’t the No Smoking regulation applicable during all phases of flight not just after takeoff?
I always loved my hometown Airport💪🏾💪🏾🔥🔥 KOA. Especially takeoffs into the sunset or landing , so majestic
KOA is one of my all time favorite airports to fly too. Thanks for watching my friend!

Amazing how the wings can support those engines. They are several tons in weight. I would think over time the weight would bend the wings.

Why was the flight so long? Or is that from gate to gate?
Well this time is gate to gate, but it was also unusually long due to strong headwinds. At times we had almost 150mph headwinds.

Skylite Productions ok thanks for clearing that up
And just like that, one is out of CA
And over the vast Pacific. Thanks for watching my friend!

Boy, that’s really quiet
All of these new engines amaze me at how quiet they are. The ones here, even the max, the 787, etc.

they sell water???? Unbelievable!
17:57 who is the a--hole passenger who presses the FA call button when the plane is on its takeoff roll?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Thanks for watching my friend!
Skylite Productions you’re welcome but I still hate it when airline passengers do that type of thing 😏

That is correct. This is, indeed, an airplane haha.
