Epic Garden Transformation - Start to Finish
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 13 ม.ค. 2024
- This is a garden design by the talented Hannah Collins, she invited us to quote for the project after finalising the design.
Two of us started the rip out in September and it was just 2/3 of us for the first 2 weeks then we were joined by the rest of the team (5 of us) till the end of November then the last 3/4 weeks there was just 2/3 of us finishing off while the lads started a new job.
So, from start to finish it took 16 weeks. If it was the summer with longer days and less rain 🙄 and the full team on start to finish, it would of been comfortably done in 12 weeks.
The materials we used are as follows -
Porcelain - Marshalls Arrento Encore in Dune 600x600
Decking - Londonstone Designboard in Amber
Wall Cladding - Norstone Lynia in Basalt
Cube Cladding - Londonstone Designclad in Vintage Grey
Gravel - Stonewarehouse 20mm Ocean Blue
Pergola - Silva Timber - 90x90mm cedar
Water Blade - Oase
Plants - Glazebrook Nursery’s
Pavilion - Rase Outdoor Living
Lighting - AP Electrical

I don’t want to say you fellas make it look easy because that suggests anyone can do this. I don’t want to say you make it look hard because that suggests you guys aren’t on top of things . You guys show us that it looks like you have the skills the talent and the knowledge. This is not the first time I’ve left a comment on one of your videos and not the first time I’ve loved what I’m seeing.
It’s definitely not easy but we’ll always get there in the end 👍🏼👍🏼 thanks for watching and the support 👍🏼👍🏼
A craftsman in any trade makes a job look easy that's because there a craftsman, you cant buy knowledge its learnt over years
Sometimes a thumbs up doesn’t seem to be enough. This is stunning and it’s great to see a young lad in and amongst craftsmen. 👏👏👏
Many thanks, appreciated 🙏🏼
That’s my son 👍🏼 he’s learning the trade
Best in the business them Brockstone reds. Unrivalled workmanship anywhere. Never seen anyone turn out the quality of work they do. Dirk ‘Kev’ Kuyt on the mixer, the mans a machine. And the Marauding midfield maestro Javier ‘Craig’ Masharano smashing the digger and the nail gun. What a crew! Of course led by the skipper. Loving this job boys.
Haha always look forward to your comments mate, made me smile that 👍🏼
All the best to you chief 👊🏼
Once again ,I can see why you guys are the best, truly amazing
Too kind 🙏🏼
What’s better than quality ? I’m not sure of the word . Whatever it is it is , it applies to your team ! And it’s teamwork that makes these projects and these insights of how it’s done so superb….. when we all watch and be in awe of what we see ……
You must be one proud man !
Kind words - thank you.
It’s taken many years and hard work to build my team and secure these kind of projects
🙏🏼
Another project with wow factor. It's testament to the craftsmen that built it. Working through the bad weather must have been a test but the result is awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers! Yes it was a battle 😅
Thanks again!
Not gonna lie this has literally amazed me the quality of the workmanship and skill that has made this what it is I know who I will be using if I ever win the lotto to have a garden like this ,, literally stunning work !!!
Thank you so much amigo! I appreciate you watching and your kind words of encouragement 🙏🏼
Yet again it’s a massive thumbs up from this old Brickie. Wow your standard of work is first class. The epoxy resin grout to the edges on the raised plinth is something else. The devil is in the detail and you guys don’t miss a thing.
Thank you very much!
All the best to you sir
Thanks for uploading. Great to see the power of good design and meticulous attention to detail in practice.
Glad you like it! Thank you mate
A pretty penny well spent. Absolutely stunning outcome. Well done lads. 👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it thank you
Summer Spring Fall Winter doesn’t matter this is truly Amazing. Very inspiring
It really is! Thank you
What a fantastic garden, Matty.
well done lads.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Just amazing talents and the hand cut mitres are just insane. I wouldn't like to even guess how much it all cost, but it was worth every penny. I'm looking forward to the next build
Ah Thank you very much! All the best 👍🏼👍🏼
Agreed - the back beveling of those tiles was phenomenal, as was notching the slot for the water feature. A pretty penny to build and a pretty penny to maintain I would expect, but gorgeous.
Well you deserve all the fantastic comments you get ,you are the best out there I'm sure.
Thank you very much! Appreciate it and yes I’m humbled
Having watched the full feature i was presently surprised to see this pop up👍 i look forward to the black and white version and the directors cut edition with the extra 5 minutes 😂 outstanding work fellas once more 👍
That’s it now I’m afraid ☺️ new video in a few weeks 👍🏼
Cheers mark
WOW!!!! What an Awesome transformation. Great work guys 👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏

Ah thank you so much for the kind words of encouragement. I really appreciate the support you give us by watching and commenting on our videos. Thank you
Brilliant
Cheers
STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS!!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice to see the extra effort going in to make it perfect when so many others would have cut corners. That homeowner will hopefully have many years to enjoy it all.
I hope so too! Thank you 🙏🏼
Very impressive. Looks like a good bunch of guys.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Phenomenal design and it looks like the construction team employed solid building techniques, but oddly enough the thing that impressed me the most was the incredible skills with the angle grinder in building that tiled island with the water feature.
Amazing to hear! Thank you so much
We look forward to your next adventure, every one better than the last, you and your crew do fantastic work, looking forward to your next adventure, regards from Ireland,😮😮😮
Thank you very much!

Absolutely unreal as always guys!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Brilliant job again, love hearing the scouse accents been in Australia for years but still call Liverpool my home.
You can take the kid out of Liverpool but you can’t take Liverpool out the kid 🤜🤛
I'm loving the music you put on the videos, keep up the good work 👍
Glad you like them! Great to hear
Just utter beauty 🫡
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Oh my! So wonderful! 😭😭😭
I want a garden similar to that one day!
Nice isn’t it 🙌🏼
@@Brockstonepavingpros yes, so perfect! You made it look so easy 👌👌👌
Stunning, simply stunning😮😊❤
Thank you! 😊
Stunning!
Thank you! Cheers!
Amazing transformation
Glad you think so!
Serene. Top quality
Big up
That looks amazing
Thanking you
Like so often, too much building, too little garden, too much indoor stuff brought outside. But really nice patterns and colors, I like the white stripes on the ground, the basalt wall and the interchanging colors. Just hard to clean it all the time. Always imagine what a new garden will look like in 5, 10, 20 years!
Thanks
Looks fantastic 🤩 Great job!
Thank you! Cheers!
Amazing job ❤❤❤
Thank you! 😄
Hi Matty mate ....I hope you and the family / team are good 👍🏻
Some people use the transformation far too easily ...but with your work it really is.
Shout out to Hannah too for the amazing design 🎉
That Basalt cladding looks amazing ...just looks so classy but fiddly to level each one !
Unlike how the wood posts separate the areas to the eye ...
It's 5 star hotel standard and then some !!
Be happy brother 🙏 Gary
Cheers Gary, always appreciate the support my friend 🙏🏼👍🏼
Hope you’re well mate
Thank you 🙏🏼
Nice job!!! Excellent100%
Thank you very much!
Mint job lads
Appreciated
Great Perfection in Work !!
Thank you! Cheers!
Possibly my favourite one to date pal. Hard to choose though 😊
One of mine too mate
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Sick that boys well done 👌🏻
Nice one amigo ✌🏼
precioso trabajo😍😍
Gracias 😃
It would be good to see the customer’s reaction at the end of the build. Also a basic idea of cost would be handy for some of us to know, that quality of work doesn’t come cheap & must run into 10’s of thousands. Impressive work guys.
The customer sees it as it goes along so it’s not like a big reveal. Plus most don’t like to be on camera. The cost is between the client and I unfortunately
Thanks for watching and the comments 👍🏼
astonishing
Thank you 🙏🏼
You guys are geniuses in the making. You are always fully booked! wished you had a team in London! :/
Maybe one day! Thank you very much
Good 👍 video guys
Glad you enjoyed it
Incredible matty .The cost of these projects you do Liverpool must be a rich place mate 😂.The design the materials the determination to crack on in winter and the skills you guys have always blows me away unbeatable stuff .if only we were as good mate 😂 love it 👍🧱🧱
Thanks Just! Kind words mate 🙏🏼 humbled.
We do get the opportunity to create some lovely spaces, but it’s not always been that way, it’s taken many years to build a reputation and relationships with designers.
Thanks for the support 🙏🏼
@Brockstonepavingpros spot on mate i can totally understand that .ive tried to find designers here cant find any is there an association they belong to matty 👍
Yes mate the SGD 👍🏼👍🏼
What does that stand for Matty ?👍
@@brickrightbuildinglandscaping society of garden designers 👍🏼
good job
Thank you! Cheers!
Never thought of using epoxy with ceramic like that. Top quality detailing. Nice work, lads. P.S. I'm in the trade.
Works well on the mitres 👍🏼 thank you
Your workmanship is simply outstanding, love watching all the transformations you have done, any big plans for 2024?
Same dance this year 🕺🏾 thanks for the support 👍🏼
Definitely prefer the longer videos much more entertaining and educational ✌️
Cheers mate. I like to do both so people have the option. The shorter ones usually have a greater reach to non subscribers
A short one I did is on 1.1 million views currently
👍🏼
Stunning! An outdoor kitchen would have been good.
Was in the original design but the client omitted it 👍🏼
Muito foda ver todo trabalho e cuidado que vcs tem quando fazem o trabalho.
Appreciated
Wow
Appreciated 👍🏼👍🏼 thank you 🙏🏼
Hello Here from Holland.
What a nice job you make there man.
Like the video,s very much😀😀
Hello there! Thank you very much 👍🏼👍🏼
Wow xx💝
Thank you ☺️
Good job! What is the composition of the last layer under the tiles, is it cement and sand or some ready-made drainage mortar? What do you put on the tiles?
Fantastic work...👍.
Always wondered is Pep had a side hussle away from Man City...🤔.
You’re not the first to say that😆👍🏼 don’t think anyone’s said it on TH-cam before though 👍🏼
Precision work. As someone from australia, I shake my head that people here don’t take pride in their work like these guys. Just one question though, don’t you have white ants over there?
Thank you very much!
White ants? No only black ones
Ha, no seriously in Australia, we have white ants that eat the timber if in contact with the ground. It looked like you were putting timber in contact with the ground, so hence my question. @@Brockstonepavingpros
@@JamesKnightSmith Termites?
@@BBirke1337 Close, but no they're called "White Ants" they eat timber in Australia if you have it in contact with the ground. From Google " Termites are social insects that build large nests in soil or wood and can occasionally cause damage to wooden structures. They are sometimes called 'white ants', however they belong to a completely different insect group (Order Isoptera) to true ants (Order Hymenoptera)."
Beautiful job! My question is regarding the large tiled flooring. What type is it and isn't it super slick when wet?
It’s mentioned early in the video but it’s Marshalls Arrento Encore. Not slippery 👍🏼 up to British standards
Pukka job, is that bamboo on back wall. Looks great
It’s all composite decking 👍🏼
Please came to California 😊
Packing my bags as we speak ✈️ ☀️
That's a great build. What's the maintenance like on all those lights? How often are they malfunctioning and require adjusting/service?
Not sure on the electrical side sorry, I’d have to ask the spark! Not my field
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Do you use any software for planning this out or do you use pencil and paper?
Garden designer Hannah Collins created visuals and plans 👍🏼
What is that base holding the water for the Water Feature?????
Totally awesome work 😍😍😍😍
It’s a bespoke design by the garden designer, she had it fabricated
Great idea 💡
@@Brockstonepavingpros it sure was. I must agree 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Artisan
Thank you!!
Great transformation - What would a job like this cost….?
I can’t discuss that publicly I’m sorry
Thanks for watching
Impressive work! 50-75k in materials and over quarter of million for the install? I want to see the house!
Can’t comment on that😅House is stunning 👍🏼
👍👍👍
👍🏼👍🏼
What grout was used here Matty? That wall cladding is still painful to watch mate lol
Horrific 😫
Mapei ultracolour plus in sand
Thank you
Good job....shell mobility sight management app......
Ey?
What are the design specs on those LEDs in the pergola? How many watts is your power supply?
Not got a clue, electrician sorted that, nothing to do with us, we just did the groundwork’s for it
I'd like to know what would be the price so I'm ready for it in the future ahead?
Sorry it’s between the client and me only
Geez a job ,i can do that 😂
Ok yozza
Can you tell me how you make your dry mix please?
It’s more semi dry / moist.
5/1 grit sand to cement 👍🏼
Matty what makes you choose either semi dry mix or full wet mix? I'm sure I've seen you lay these flags using both and just interested to know what makes you go with one over the other? Incredible work as always btw! @@Brockstonepavingpros
Can we know cost of conversion?
Sorry between the client and I
Looks good but i always hated paths with a step then imminently grass, then another step and grass. I hate it more on driveways. Makes no sense there. Also makes lawn care a pain.
It’s called design. May not be the easiest to maintain but the gardener will enjoy looking after it ☺️🤌🏼
which country is this?
England
Total budget?
🤐
Name of the song plz 4:42
Use Shazam 👍🏼
guys i see several mistakes the main one i don't see pressure treated wood, second the post have direct contact with concrete big mistakes.
It was pressure treated wood for the decking frame and cedar for the posts. All good but thanks for input and for supporting the channel 🤙🏼
OMG, so much sealed surface area. What about all the animals?
🧐 okayyyy
Everything was done well, but in the sixth minute I saw how a wooden beam was buried in the ground - this is horror! In many videos from the USA I see this - a wooden beam is buried in the ground. I wonder how long it will last, how long it will take for the tree to rot? In two years? Okay, five years. There are a large number of options in which the wooden beams are not buried in the ground, as they do in Europe. I read that this company is from the UK. This means that builders from the USA and UK need to get high-quality work from Europeans. 😉
Thanks for watching ✌🏼
Wow. Very nice. Music with lyrics is distracting. Just use instrumentals.
Thank you. Never had anyone say that before but thanks for your input
A lot of work there it has to be said but stones near the lawn never ends well, didn’t see any heat in the outside seating/tv area… not sure about the porcelain tiles in the lawn either but each to there own I guess.
Great work but the finish garden isn’t for me tbh.
The world would be a boring place if we all had the same views, thanks for sharing.
There are heaters on the underside of the pavilion.
The gardener will take care of the lawn, he’s looking forward to maintaining this beautiful garden.
A hahaha,it was much better before!!!!
Thanks 👍🏼
