I think an explanation as to why they changed their names could be that once they Transcended to godhood, or whatever they are, their true names became a power / weakness of theirs (names have power and all that), so they had to go by Pseudonyms

Sorry I don’t think he saw it get destroyed? The only thing I know about IS lumine waking up seeing to get destroyed (the video of her running through). Idk if theirs an actually evidence OTHER then the fact that if you choose lumine in the game they swap the two. He’s just the one they chose for promotions since they can’t use both. It would be awkward if they used both twins as traveler. Who would be the abyss sibling? So they chose aether arbitrarily.
